Saif Ali Khan Silences Rumors

Rumors are rife that Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji have been teamed yet again [after HUM TUM] in Yash Raj's next project, to be directed by Shaad Ali. Reportedly, the director of SAATHIYA and BUNTY AUR BABLI has decided to make a romantic film this time around.

"That's not true. I haven't been approached for the film," Saif, who is shooting for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's EKLAVYA [earlier titled YAGNA] in Rajasthan, called to say. What about a project with Siddharth Raj Anand, the director of SALAAM | NAMASTE? The Mumbai press has already done the 'news break' about Siddharth and Saif working together again.

"Yes, Siddharth and I discussed the possibility of working again, but the project is yet to take shape. He [Siddharth] hasn't worked on the script yet," Saif clarifies and adds in the same breath, "In fact, I don't have any films, except EKLAVYA. But I hope to confirm a few qualitative projects soon."
