Not much of a writer... its been ages since I created a thread (2010 to be exact 😛). Here are some of my random thoughts on the episode

Abha finds it hilarious that Sandy is a teetotaler. This is so real. I'm sure the teetotalers can identify with it. I definitely do. The joke stereotyping south Indians ... I hope we get a retort from Sandy on that. He definitely did not find it funny.

Akshay is going bad to worse. Myra is aware that he threw his brother under the bus when the plan went awry. That is a huge red flag for her... she cannot trust him anymore.

I thought there was some character growth for Rhea. But she is back to her old self. The whole party scene and her outburst... she has little respect for Nikhil, if any.

Its time Kabir stepped back a bit. His behavior is a bit overbearing now. Myra's face fell when she heard about him leaving. That was a sign enough, and he should have left it at that.

I pity Mrs Sharma. Its going to be part deux with Akshay being dumped. Just her luck.😳

I found Abha's laughter there a little insensitive. Love that BKK has always tried to address steoretypes & popular opinions in little ways, with little comments such as Kabir asking Myra what is the connection between dress & manners & in Abha/Sandy's case, the common perceptions about South Indians. I hope for a retort too.
Also I quite like that Sandy despite being in love with Abha, is not shown to be mesmerised by her all time & neither does he try to impress. He is the way he is & has always been. Myra & Kabir can learn a lot from Abha & Sandy respectively. Both these couples' love stories have similar parallels.. started with a lack of trust, to understanding & a lot more.

IMO Akshay has always been like this. I can never forget that he lied to Kabir about Mrs Kohli's birthday party venue. And on top of that, he didn't even apologise & acted as if Kabir missed it out of his own accord. That sealed the deal for me that he's a manipulative & untrustworthy person.

Rhea, I believe, is a work in progress character. We all are but Rhea particularly seems to be in that stagnant phase where she's just in her own little bubble. She needs a lot of growing up. For starters, I hope that she'll start working on something constructive & not just laze around at home.

Totally agree on Kabir. Time that he took a step back & let Myra make her own choices & decisions. Hi soft pressure on her is only making her more resistant to giving in.

Objectively, I'd feel for any mother in Mrs Sharma's position. But I don't know I don't think much of her. I'll just take it as her karma coming back to haunt her.😆

Hi Everyone ! I had given up on Indian serials for a long time and am so glad I started watching BKK.
I did find Kabir a little OTT in the last episode - I love Kabir's character and he's always been shown as very mature and has a subtle way of getting his point across. So could not relate to yesterday's Kabir - like you said, if he just said he was leaving, that would have been powerful!

I also liked the way Myra being uncomfortable with Akshay's advances, but is ok with Kabir's proximity/closeness.

Myra is now understanding Akshay, he's really egoistic- ditched his brother and and acted so sensible in front of Rhea! He really thinks he's perfect. His love for Myra is because he thinks she's worthy of him - in looks, sophistication, and more dutiful ( as compared to Rhea) as she listens to her mom.
In his heart he wants a very traditional house wife, but cool enough to show off and who thinks the sun rises and sets with him!

I do wish they will show a little more intensity in Kabir-Myra interaction ( not push-pull ), but an awareness. I think Myra's Shut-ups to Kabir are getting tiring!

Anyways, wanted to post my thoughts.

I forget why Abha laughed at Sandy.

Rhea has really been getting on my nerves. High time she grew up, showed some respect, empathy and sensitivity to everyone!!

Nikhil surprised me though. I am not liking the change in him since Nikhil arrived on the scene.

I also feel that Myrah has to tone down when it comes to Kabir, and it's high time for Kabir to give it a break which could IMO would bring back Myrah to a realisation.
I love the smooth running romance between Sandy and Abha. I like this mature love track, especially from Sandy's side. It's not like 'head over heels' type, but rather giving in and getting time and space to understand and know each other. It's just wow...And, Abha, unlike Myrah is not a 'denying' type. The way she was looking at the saree given by him, and hid it like a teenager when he mom was coming in was just practical and shows the effects.

looking forward the coming episodes. With the story getting more interesting day by day, the forum becomes active as well.

Thanks Sam. 😳 Love discussing the show with you guys. One of the few forums where all views are welcome.

Ditto on the hot button topics. The way they handled topics like bullying and depression as well. Its always been subtle and non-judgemental. I love the way they are building up Abha-Sandy story. There is a maturity there, although Abha too was judgemental initially.

About Akshay, he has a 'war' going on with Kabir. But to put the blame squarely on his own brother... Finally Myra is seeing him for what he his. I hope they do reveal that it was Kabir's connections who got them out of the lock-up. Kabir behaved too much of a gentleman with Akshay earlier on (He knew Myra would not believe him).

I agree on Rhea. After the album deal fell through, her one goal in life appears to be marriage. She needs to get back to her dreams.

Mrs Sharma... she is perhaps the only typical desi soap character in the show.

Hi there and welcome to the forum. 😃 Its great to have new people joining in. Please do keep sharing your thoughts with us. BKK is a gem.

Akshay's character defines the pseudo-equalist men. Those who go hoarse advocating equality and feminism, but want a traditional, subservient wife. He wants a trophy wife who would be a sanskari one at home.

I do think there would be an awareness in the Kabir-Myra's relation later not. No push-pull please. First they need to get Myra out of the 'ideal daughter' phase.

Good to see you here, Nandy 😃

Abha found it funny that Sandy does not drink (in fact promised his mom he would not touch alcohol), and that reminded of her 3-4 Tamilian Brahmin (hate the word Tam-Bram) classmates who were either too studious or into musical concerts. Very stereotyping.

I agree about Nikhil. He was a sensible guy.

Kabir is coming on too strong now, on the verge of being cocky. I preferred the conversation, where he was trying to get through to her that she needs to decide for herself.

The way Abha hid the saree from her mom, she is still processing her thoughts. Sandy seemed smitten by her earlier. Its all subtle now. Love the way he is helping her spread her wings. The men in this show are gold... apart from Akshay of course.

Ri, Sandy told her he will make mocktails because he is good at making them. What's that got to do with him not drinking. Abha is confused. 😆
I know a bunch of vegetarians who make wonderful non veg so I guess it is possible to make cocktails also despite being a teetotaler.
SO it could be that I am past my 3 month threshold, my honeymoon phase for desi soaps because lately I keep finding little things that annoy me.😳
