No wonder Indian professionals ki band baji hai. We emphasize more on emotions than the bloody job at hand.
"I'm not going to do this job, eve if you are my supervisor, because, it would be emotionally unwise to!"...Uhhh...seriously?
As a to be lawyer, I know that if I am to take up a case, and work hard to win it- I will be causing undue emotional stress to the other side. Should that stop me from doing my job? Rewind thousands of years into history, to Krishna's discourse to Arjuna during the Mahabharata- do your dharma, irrespective of who is on the opponent's side. Now, as I see it, the forum is filled with extremely ardent and religious members of 'civil' society (LOL), therefore, hopefully this analogy should strike a cord.
The sole reason why Urvashi is on this show, is in the capacity of a TV Actor, therefore she was given the task in the first place rather than Niketan who would be absolutely incompetent to do the same. As a thorough professional, you do the task as instructed. If you cannot, then you are both incompetent and unprofessional. Personal emotions and life are separate from professional life- any amateur working in a professional job will tell you that.
Moreover, the contestants have signed a contract which would clearly spell out the format of the game show (it is exactly that- a game show). If you didn't read it carefully- too bad- you're still bound by it. It would state that Bigg Boss is the ultimate ruler of this dystopian society that is the Bigg Boss House. If any contestant states that Urvashi should have been mindful of emotions, they are being hypocrites, because they would have tried to do the same to the best of his/her ability, else, they are buffoons who do not understand the show and what is expected of them. If you want to rebel or rather refuse to do something, you will have to bear the consequences. That is, not only the punishments that will be meted out to you during the show, but even the impression that your possible recruiters will get of your incompetence. Is it worth risking your bread and butter for? Uhhh NO! If you're expected to work late at a job- you do it, irrespective of the fact that your family is waiting up for you. After all, you're getting paid to do the job- for your family. Can you ask for concessions- yes. But would Bigg Boss allow you concessions- NO! So you do what is expected of a thorough professional- your dharma.
I am not an Urvashi fan or whatever, so spare me any childish anti- Urvashi rebukes as is widely common o this forum. Yet, please hate Urvashi for all your want, and rant about it as well- but for reasons both logical and sensible. Otherwise, posts and topics like this have no other place besides the trash can.
