There's a difference. We're viewers who form opinions after watching the show, and our views and actions are not broadcast to hundreds and thousands of people via national TV.

The people participating on the show are expected to behave with a certain degree of decorum because as celebrities, they should know what is acceptable and what isn't to viewers. We on the forum do not have that big a responsibility.

The thing with Sid is that he's been rather sporting when other people like PM made fun of him. Heck, even PM took it in the right spirit when Sky imitated her. I've yet to see an instance where Sky has behaved like an adult when he's the butt of the joke. If you want people to apologise for their actions towards you, then at least conduct yourself with some dignity. And be willing to be laughed at when you laugh at others as well. It works both ways.

As for Sid imitating Mandeep- he just repeated what she herself had said on the show. Sky has just been picking on Gulabo and Shraddha because I'm guessing they aren't high flying urban dwellers like himself. Making fun of someone's behaviour and making fun of someone's accent and/or background are two completely different things.

Actually, that's fun too, but you're asking for trouble when you do that on TV.

Sky & his puke worthy dialogues which he considers jokes , just showcase how pathetic he is behind those branded clothes & international hair weaving

I wasn't referring to Sky and Amar taunting one another. My grouse is with Sky's general behaviour with most people in that house. He's been at it from the very beginning, whether it was calling Mahek chudail, bringing her past on the show (I don't care if she's a drama queen. You just don't bring someone's muck in the BB house regardless of how the person behaves), telling people they need psychiatric help, and apparently taking it upon himself to tell Shiraz (Shonali's BF) who he should and shouldn't date.

That was still tolerable to a certain extent, till he started with the Gulabo BS. Why make fun of her name, her accent, or her background? Sid did no such thing when he imitated Mandeep. Like I said, he made fun of what she said on the show. In any case she asked for it. Who on Earth cries about constipation on national TV?

I don't find fart jokes insulting either, even though I find them juvenile. But people are missing the point. What Sky did was far more than crack an ordinary fart joke. As far as your point 'Is that all Sid remembers about Mandy?' is concerned- I ask: is Gulabo's non-existent perfume fart all Sky remembers about her?

It's not about opinions changing according to the situation, it's about behaving a certain way on TV. There's a line between humour and guttural behaviour, and that goes for the forum too. But are we celebrities or wannabes expected to behave a certain way on national TV? No, we aren't.

About people on the forum laughing at certain housemates and throwing brickbats at Sky- He crossed the line and made jibes about Gulabo's name and accent on TV. For the same reason, people are being taken aback by PM's abuses and taunts on Twitter, because that is also a case of a known face thrashing people on a public platform. There's a certain give and take when you become a celebrity. You have to watch what you say or risk being hated or controversial because of it!

Of course you have a right to think otherwise.
