I think this is what happend I m just copy pasting what I had posted in another thread involving same issue:

I think he wanted gud for Sunny only . Actually Sunny told shonali about whom did she vote...while sky was unaware of the conversation b/w them n thought that sunny must have voted amar..When sky came to know about it it was too late n by the time shonali n sunny had already interacted. So now he thought of loosing amar at his side...so he wanted to do damage control n told shonali about sunny not voting for her. BUT then He soon realized that its not gud to lie even if it is game n felt bad for Sunny as she was portrayed as lier...So he did his best to convince shonali n eventually he told amar the truth which shows that he is not bad at heart...So it was big misunderstanding... IF sunny haven't told shonali at first place this won't have happened...BUT saying that he fooled/ cheated sunny is not possibility at all , it was just misunderstanding which got clarified at the end .

SKY WAS WRONG TODAY BLAAH BLLAH BLAAH!!!!!!!! 😆 honestly folks watch the whole show! his priority is saving his friends from being eliminated from the game-Amar is definitely going to be the captain and SKY was worried that because sunny did not vote in favor for amar- he could silently play a game (AND HE SAID THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN when he was talking to juhi) and put sunny in danger. That is definitely a possibility as we know amar kisika nahi hai! NOW anyone who saw the whole episode saw how he apologized to amar and convinced him not to deviate from the group so that none of SKY's people get in danger zone. was that really that hard to pick up? if yeah then i will say this to it

I doubt Sky is so altruistic... he would probably like Sunny to go before Juhi since Juhi is the lesser threat in the competition, improving Sky's chances of being in the finals and winning...

Or one could see it as the fact that juhi has been with sky longer then sunny and remained his loyal friends for much longer and thus will be protected by him more then Sunny-😉

Moreso- he has given his fare share of examples of being altruistic. Once by saving Sid and putting himself in danger zone then again for juhi- Those were times when he was in the heat with mahek fight- and chances were high the public would buy in to the crying woman's story and vote him out. But thanks to objective audience who knew sky's contribution to Big boss is intense and without him show is no more worth a watch.

The lie was so unnecesary. It created problem between shonali and sunny and he made his own friend sunny look like a liar. He also lied Amar that all his friends voted him. "agar isse bataadein toh phas jayenge. ye silent player hai. humari sabki baja dega."😆 mister "i only came here to win the hearts of people and don't give a shit about nominations" was scared of amar and his planning. (humne dekh liya ki kitna sky dil jeetna chahta hai aur kitna sky game jeetna chahta hai. agar dil jeetna hai toh kisi ka dil nahi thod thay! forget winning hearts, he broke people's hearts to inch towards the win!)

so yea. this is why he lied to amar and made sunny look like a liar to shonali (sunny ka face during the whole thing was hilarious😆. poor girl. told the truth and got labeled as a liar). and im not buying his "i didn't want to hurt amar's feelings" either. that was not the reason at all. he was trying his best to maintain amar as an ally. people who care about other people's feelings don't differentiate. if he cared about amar's feelings, then he would've cared about shonali's feelings too, which he didn't obviously. he basically only cares about those people's feelings who are useful to him. this is Sky for ya! not one bit surprised!

I loved how Sid challenged Sky to come join him in nominations.

Last week bada mard mard ban raha tha when he was already nominated.

i never acctually understood why he wanted to conceal the truth from shonali in the first place...why not tell what has acc happened and give her soul some rest?
