Promises they say are meant to be broken. And politicians are meant to follow this rule by the book. But Sanjay Nirupam thinks otherwise. The politician who promised fellow contestant Monica Bedi, in the Bigg Boss 2 house, that he'll arrange for her accommodation in Andheri has lived up to it.
Now out of the house, Monica will go with Nirupam to take a look at the flats that Nirupam has arranged for her. Seems like Nirupam has been looking out for a nice abode for this girl ever since he left the Bigg Boss house.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror last evening, Nirupam confirmed the news and said, "Yes I have arranged for some flats in Andheri. Monica can either rent or purchase them, that will depend on her. These flats are mainly in Lokhadwala and Yari Road. Monica called me day before yesterday to know the status of her accommodation, as I had promised to help her. I told her about the shortlisted flats today."
"There is no reason why Monica cannot convince others just like she convinced me about her plight. In fact, people are now convinced and have begun to see her in a different light," added Nirupam.
The politician strongly believes that Monica rightfully deserves a new lease to life and said, "Monica is an innocent girl. She was trapped. Whatever mistakes she committed, she has already been punished for them. She has a right to start all over again."
He also added, "Normally it is felt that politicians don't fulfill their promises but that's far from the truth. And I want to prove that I am a man of my words. Also, I really want to help Monica."
When contacted, a relieved Monica said, "Bigg Boss has changed my life and I have no words to thank the show. People are looking at me differently now."
She also added, "I am extremely thankful to Nirupamji. I don't want to stay in Mulund for long. It's too far and it takes hours for me to commute everyday, since most of my meetings take place in Andheri, Juhu or Bandra. The traffic is killing and I badly need to settle somewhere in Andheri. I hope that will happen very soon."
Hope the other politicians who give the lot a bad name, are reading this and definitely drawing inspiration.
