Yo Cruiser,
I agree with almost everything you write, mate! I will add my thoughts to what you mentioned.

Manu came out best, in my opinion. At no point, did he seem like he was going to lose control of himself. The way the guy holds his frame is commendable.👏 I believe he would have been a terrific captain and too bad, we might not get to see his captaincy.

Rohan did very well because - well you said it all, Cruiser. The only drawback in his performance was that he kept the phone down before the time was up, thereby maybe harming his team's chances of winning. But overall, he performed very well upto the last point wherein he stood up to Bani. 👏

Manveer did very well too. His task was most complicated because he was being attacked by his friend for whom he probably has a soft corner. However, at several points, he was unable to hold his frame and looked like he might lose control of the conversation, thus highlighting that he is no way near Manu in leadership abilities. Still, strong performance in a difficult area wherein, given his background, he was going to find challenging. 👏

Lopa's performance as call center executive was average. As a former model and beauty pageant contestant/winner, she was expected to be able to handle tough questions. But she was constantly answering back and being defensive in a way that a call center executive should not. Lopa had a chance to shine and she could not.

I believe that Lopa's performance as caller tomorrow is outstanding. Her task was to get under the skin of Bani and she smartly used the example of two times in past when Bani threw a rage at Swami Om and Manu. From the perspective of winning the task and making Bani quit the call, she did whatever was required. 👏 I do not think that decency and taking care of feelings is important in these tasks. These people are being paid good money for these simple tasks, and if they cannot handle the heat, they should not come to the show.

Although Lopa looks outstanding as a caller, I believe strategically she made a blunder and handed over the trophy to Bani. The channel favors Bani obviously and is trying to build an emotional story for her and Lopa allowed Bani to give more content to the channel: a lonely girl with sick mother, lost her only friend to a cruel eviction, and facing the wrath of unsympathetic competitors. This story is more emotional than any other contestant's.

Bani surely looks like a nutcase now using her mother for sympathy because of two reasons:
1) Her rage at Bani was quite controlled initially and not a case of she had lost her mind. She had the presence of mind to be pushing Lopa with her shoulders initially to avoid being accused of violence, her eyes were quite calm
2) During her rage at Swami Om, she had the presence of mind to tell him that she will forgive him if he lets go of the rope and let her friend win the task
I will add that Bani's response today should make Swami Om look much better now. I know most people disagree with me.

Nitibha did well in the task, as expected. She comes across as a typical ambitious, new money girl with questionable judgment.

Mona had a tear in her eye and, in the absence of any other task requirement from her, that tear should provide the emotion and consistency required for her to keep progressing.

@Cruiser. A great analysis. Adding my two cents on the topic which I have posted in another thread as well.

Everyone is talking of how sensitive the topic is. Let me be for once devil's advocate. How do you know by going personal on Lopa, Bani did not touch any of the sensitive issue? The problem is we think people are more sensitive to what we perceive as sensitive. For Bani we know her mother is a sensitive issue, how do we know that calling Lopa as a dependent woman or not so beautiful or a gold digger is not sensitive enough or even her relation with her father? In fact is a country like India being a girl with a dusky complexion could have been a very traumatic childhood. My point is if you want to dish out personal attacks be ready to receive them as well specially where it hurts the most.

Very well written cruiser ji! Super agree!
Rohan did the task wonderfully! He managed to rattle manu and manveer without going personal and sticking strictly to their stint in bb10..

And manu and manveer impressed me too by keeping their cool and playing along well...

I never expected anything logical from bani and she lived hoti my expectations!😆 She went personal and brought lopa's family in between...and what was with all that screaming and banging?

And then...as expected...lopa returned in kind...bani lost it!

Bani only knows how to dish shit at others but cannot handle it when it's dished back at her...and lopa didn't even say anything against her mother...she made a point against her..

Now they have ruined this task...yet another task bani maharani couldn't complete!😆

+1 - I just wrote along these lines on another thread. There is no measure of what is and isn't sensitive to Lopa - Bani went incredibly personal and low, not to mention she was completely out of context - she spoke of hardly anything related to Lopa's stint on the show - if people can presume that none of what Bani dished should be hurtful to Lopa, why not entitle Lopa to her opinion on whether Bani uses her personal issues for footage or not? Perhaps Lopa truly thinks so - it was insensitive of her to ask, but she was giving back what she recieved. Nothing changes the fact that Bani went first and set the nasty tone - that was her choice.

So well written and logically explained 👏. Rohan, Manu and Manveer by the virtue of their patience and intelligence and understanding performed their task really well. Ladies were a big let down in their theatrics!

Well written Cruiser, and I agree. I personally don't believe Bani uses it for footage, but I do believe she overreacts hysterically every time she's called out for being in the wrong - that's her chosen out for such situations.

And I don't blame Lopa, or any others, for thinking that she does use the incident - Bani was seen telling Baba she'd forgive him if he let go of the rope, and the same if he'd nominate himself. She was trolling/mocking/testing? So it's okay for her to bring up this incident to do so, but she flies off the handle if someone else merely mentions it - i.e. Manu? And then she repeats the hurtful statement a gazillion times. She's given people reasons for doubting her, through these actions.

She deserved a free pass, IMO, for her push to Baba when he made the comment - her reactions thereafter - hysterically at Manu's mention of it, and violently at Lopa's question, are not justified at all. You can't go around hitting people because they upset you. Especially not when you've just finished upsetting and insulting them to kingdom come. This is her 3rd instance of violence - any other season, and she'd have been booted out - yet here she is, all set to win.

Lopa could've refrained - and had she said this to Bani first, I would've found it more insensitive (even if Lopa believes it to be true, and it is within context). But considering that Lopa still finished her task in spite of Bani's insults, and then gave back what she recieved - while Bani insulted away, and then flies off the handle and gets violent when faced with retaliation - Bani is definitely far more in the wrong here.

Rohan and Manu were spot on, in comparison - as instigator and customer service executive. And they were both good sports after too. Manveer too was good.

My two cents.
