I never leave my hair open...whether cooking or not. I hate it and I find it irritating. During school/college days, my mom used to scold me if I ever left my hair open while praying, cooking, eating...so I guess it's become more of a habit now and I've gotten used to tying them up all the time

i keep my hair open for whole day bt ya whn i cook ( rarely) even while making tea/coffee i tie my hair for that sply..
i feel it irritating to work wd open hai dts it..

same here... the first thing my mom taught me while I was learning to cook was to tie my hair and if I touch my hair while cooking I had to go wash my hands... so now its just a habit coz of the way I was taught and it does make sense to me why she did things that way so I am teaching my daughter the same...

Different at times, sometimes leave it open/tied !! I do a VEENA Malik while cooking ... posing and self talking with sensual expressions .. What to do, i am badly self obsessed ..😳

I think even famous chefs like tarla dalal,an jum anand , show me the curry don't tie their hair in all their YouTube videos

I keep my hair open in Kitchen though I can't cook 😆.. And my hair is open 24x7 except when I am on a bike ..

And yes, I DO have a significant amount of hairfall everyday ! 😒

Sameer soniji...I never saw any chef in any restaurant ever leaving their hair. For sake of hygiene chefs, cooks and servers are all advised to tie their hair. I don't know about celebrity cooks but at home and restaurants we tend to tie or else it is embarassing if my guests or family members find strands of hair.

One can leave their hair and it's their prerogative no rules but has to bear the consequences in your house but restaurants it's must.
