It is real... accents in the UK differ which is why his is different to Sofia's. To be honest, his accent is quite posh so it's weird hearing him when he swears in English..

He has lived in India for a while now so also that's probably why its not as 'English' any more. Although I think he sounds fine...

No he does have a British accent, but he changes it when he speaks to people that don't, just because it's easier to understand him. I do the same.

lol his accent does not sound like any of the english accents out there that i have heard.
i think he probably lived for a small period of time in uk in a predominantly south asian area. i mean there are south asian enclaves in uk, canada and america where people don't even bother learning english for a good part of their lives. if you live amongst such people, it's possible you don't pick up the uk accent properly.

Totally agree... I was feeling the same... Sophiya had a wonderful accent... Andy does have a good accent - however, he seems to be forcing it - which makes it sound fake and put on...

His accent sounds British, but sometimes when he used to speak to Sofia he tried to force his accent more.

Being a British citizen, and born and bred in England myself, I think I can confidently say his accent is normal and not fake. People who are calling it fake obviously don't have a clue as they don't live here!
I'm the same - when I speak to people from India, my accent slightly changes so it's easier for them to understand, i.e. when I speak to my elders I alter it slightly. This is exactly what he's doing and I can totally relate to him - nothing fake about it.

He speaks to Sofia in the manner he would normally talk to with any other Londoner. If I was in that house and I had a housemate who also came from London, I wouldn't talk to them in the "altered" English accent.

Is is a bit typical, like what they called the 'cockneyed' one? [hope that's not derogatory 😲]
