Why TanMan did not honesty accept?

Yesterday when Rajat Sharma brought this issue, both said that Arman said that only to make Tanisha angry, he did not mean it.

In one of the episode, he clearly asked Tanisha to do what Gauhar does to Kushal when he fights. And the conversation was calm and serious, it never looked like to annoy Tanisha. In fact Tanisha said some thing like - I also try to calm you like Gouhar but you do not listen.
