Armaan Kohli: Bashed up girlfriends, hit-and-run case, now molestation?

Armaan Kohli's angry outbursts in the Bigg Bosshouse reached a tipping point when he was arrested on Monday following an FIR filed by British singer and actress Sofia Hayat accusing him of molestation. The police arrested Armaan after watching a clip that was not aired on the show, but was the basis of the complaint. The actor was granted bail yesterday. While TOI is not privy to what actually transpired, we spoke to people who have known Armaan in the past and his temper issues. Only time will tell whether Sofia was justified or not in this case, but one thing is for sure that many villain roles in Bollywood await Armaan when he is out of the house.

If a woman has filed a complaint against him, then I am sure it is true: Ayesha JhulkaBollywood actress Ayesha Jhulka, who was dating Armaan in the 90s, had also acted with him in a few films, but she doesn't want to associate herself with him now. She says, "I watch the show for Salman Khan. But I would never like to associate myself with a man like Armaan. He is history now and if a woman has filed a complaint against him for such a behaviour then I am sure it is true. Everyone knows him and what kind of a person he is, so my saying anything about him does not work."
He has been a girlfriend beater: Dolly Bindra
Apart from a hit-and-run case against Armaan in December 2002, there was another police case against him filed in 2008 in Mauritius by Dolly Bindra. She says, "He has been a girlfriend-beater. I had filed a case against him in Mauritius on behalf of his then girlfriend Moon Banerjee. I was adamant on taking it forward, but Moon did a volte face for reasons best known to her. Sofia has done the right thing. I am surprised why he is still inside the house. He should have been thrown out after he abused Kamya Punjabi. Kisi ladki ke muh tak kaise jaa sakte ho. I stand strongly against not just Armaan, but all men who misbehave with women.
