Sorry to respond to you here but I cannot post any replies due to restrictions hence I have no choice to make this thread. You have written well and I appreciate your diverse opinion to the topic, its good to hear from the other point of view.

However I have to disagree with you on your original post.

Its NOT an assumption anymore, they went through the evidence, showed it to the judge and the judge gave a warrant for the arrest -- this is no laughing matter simply because of -- (A) It's already been proven that the assault took place as per the evidence. (B) Justice of peace signed the warrant. (C) The cops arrested him and now the matter is before the court.

This is not some hear say or assumptions and the charges are quite serious of nature and make perfect sense to me. Each country has its own laws and regulations that should be respected. If the laws exist there then he should be charged for it no matter our disagreement we should not apply our Russian or Canadian or any other logic to them.

You think the police should have waited for few weeks so the show is over but they couldn't care less, the law is not bound as per BiggBoss convenience. Besides the only time police can arrest you without warrant is if you are flight of risk and running away after immediately committing the crime and it occurred in front of them then they do not need a warrant to arrest you. Here they waited for the evidence, got the warrant from the judge and now arrested him for a hearing set today.

He is out with a bail, but it doesn't mean he did not commit a crime. A bail is only an interim relief until a sentencing can be carried out. Getting out doesn't mean he is innocent of free, it means he still has to go back and face the music when the hearing is set.

My stance on this you (Armaan) committed the crime you go to jail how hard is it to understand for him, perhaps Armaan should have thought before so he wouldn't be seeing this day.

If you play for fire one day you are going to get burned! I have no sympathies for him. 🤔

P.S. My apologies in advance to anyone as I cannot post any more replies.

Let me reframe the highlighted part; as per the legal system of India:

He is out with a bail, but it doesn't mean he committed a crime. A bail is only an interim relief until it's proven, he is guilty or Not Guilty; so a sentence can be issued by the court. Getting out doesn't mean he has committed the crime, he is only bound to make himself available for hearings. it means he still has to go back and face the proceedings when the hearing is set.

My stance on this is, if anyone has committed a crime, he should be punished. Be in Kushal, Armaan, Gauhar, Tanisha or Sophia... All of them have gone over board with tasks & which can constitute crime. Even the channel, if they have not taken due clearance from the appropriate authorities for the kind of tasks they executed.

My assessment: Nothing is going to happen in this case, it's a simple publicity stunt by Sophia. Armaan will have scopes of filing case on Sphia, Tanisha can sue Kushal, Andy Can sue Kushal ... This will be an epidemic and even the previous BB contestants if bekar can sue to grab lime light. So, this case will die a natural death.

yeah.. most ppl have just hero-fied arman as an angry young (oops, old) man.we all know india loves to vamp-ify women who are independent and verbal about their thoughts (make up nd bold persona makes the woman a bitch for indians). so see the same thing happened here. our hero got down by the vamp but lo- he emerged again. ppl happy their hero wins.

Its quite clear that police had that footage of Armaan hitting Sophia with a mop which the channel edited in the main epi , without a proper evidence Police wouldnt had arrested him.

I salute the way sofia has survived in an environment that was always against her..from her younger years she has learnt to live with such hatred surrounding her. the same thing is happening again. but I genuinely doubt how long can she survive wen the same unacceptance hits her again n again. I fear she might develop mental disorders later in life

Ganeemat hai, Armaan ji ne Judge ko bhi unki aukaat ke baare mein vistaar se varnan nahin kar diya.

Warna bail bhi na milti!

Here is what happened - a day before Armaan and Sophia got into a fight and was warned by BiggBoss and that was to be the end of it.
Sophia was minding her own business and started washing the car with a mop in her daisy duke style - everyone found this humorous and were having a chuckle at that.

However for whatever reason Armaan decided to poke his nose into this and took up an issue with Sophia. The mop did not belong to Armaan, it was not his personal item and she was not taunting Armaan with it and he was nowhere in the picture.

Armaan took irrelevant matters into his own hand, and launched a completely unprovoked and random attack at Sophia and in this process hitting her with the mop stick.

Armaan Kohli is at fault, fair and square.
