Sorry, I haven't seen the show yet. But I can't believe Armaan is actually getting votes unless ppl are being paid to vote for him.

Personally, I wouldn't brag about it on TV that my father is asking for votes for me. I'd just keep quiet.
However it's very natural for any father/other family members to ask for votes for their family member. Nothing wrong with it.

Again you missed the point completely. Did Armaan brag about his connections and family on live TV? It was Kushal's stupidity in bragging which invited Salman and Bigg Boss's wrath. It made him seem like he was gaming the system.
