His explanations later on was so stupid! He was saying he was trying to protect "meri tanisha". Arey, uski tanisha was sitting between Kamya and Ajaz., so that dirty water would have first fallen on these two before it wud have fallen on her. I also think BB does a very bad job of editing...really...sometimes it appears as if important segments are missing and it is difficult to understand why someone behaves in a certain manner sometimes in that house because there is no flow or sequence of events projected in the episodes to rationalize their actions.

Sophia had clearly said to Gauhar that she is going to stir up shit with Armaan BEFORE the broom incident. People are not exactly idiots to question if she really was hurt or not.
