Question Regarding BB rules?

I am honestly watching big boss for the first time this season and am confused with the Hinsa rule for BB. I thought Hinsa was not allowed and that was why Kushal was evicted because of the Andy scenario, but today Sofia was hit with a mop and Armaan was still in the precap? 😕 I am confused so Hinsa is allowed or not?
