buri baat..
but I do agree with you. Rajkumar Kohli was just a mediocre director who mostly directed formulic B grade movies.. the number of hits he gave can be counted on one hand only. and the last time he made a movie was like 12-15 years' ago.

Armaan talks like as if he is the son of the president or prime minister of India.
Itni akkad kis baat ki Armaan ???

Well his father did make a cult classic like Naagin (I & II). Apparently, Raj Tilak and Naukar Biwi Ki were also hits but 80s was a decade of mediocrity for Bollywood. Rajesh Khanna was past his prime, Dharmendra was past his prime, Vinod Khanna took voluntary retirement, Khan's weren't even that noticeable, Amitabh wasn't the same as he was in late 70s movies. So yeah, at best he was a average/above average director in an era of mediocrity.

The only thing good in 80s were the art movies that usually had Rajesh Khanna, Om Puri, Naseerudin Shah and Nana Patekar. These movies never got any recognition though.

WTH - Why would you call his father 'sadakchaap'?! That's uncalled for.

They are trying to guess family status from his character. Because your language tells everyone about your upbringing.
