Hey everybody. My name is Fia and this is my first post on the Bigg Boss Forum. I have been an ardent follower of the show ever since it's first Season, even though I have had my moments where I vowed to never see it again. But I guess curiosity gets the better of everybody.
I have been a silent reader of this forum since a while now so I am aware of the fact that people have different opinions, likes and dislikes, some pretty damn strong ones. So I would only request everybody to leave that all aside for a while and read this post with an open mind. I am pretty much a neutral viewer of the current season, surprisingly. Because I did have my favorites in the previous Season, mainly Urvashi and Niketan, even Imam to some extent because he was very entertaining. But this Season has been a different experience for me as I neither like, nor dislike any contestant.
Anyway coming back to the point. The show seems to be getting interesting since the past few weeks now. And I couldn't help but notice that these weekly tasks are somehow becoming the most annoying part of the show. I honestly don't understand why so much fuss and drama is created over something that they know they have to do if they want to feed themselves with a good meal. Every time a weekly task is announced, it ends up being a weekly tamasha. And it's not because of just one or two people, everybody whines and cribs throughout.
Kushal did the task without hesitating which was well and good for him and his team as it earned them a point. And even though Ajaz and team can't fully be blamed for choosing this task for him because their main motive behind it was to get them to say "No" , it still turned the whole thing ugly because when you initiate a fight, you get twice the fight in return. You shouldn't demand people to do something when you yourself can't do that. Which is exactly what has happened in the precap. Gauhar and team have ordered Ajaz to shave the hair on his head off within 3 minutes and he is shown screaming and yelling to "Draw A Line" . Which brings us back to my main point. Ajaz should not have initiated a fight if he didn't have the courage to fight back. I know how important an actor's looks are for him, especially his hair. But Apurva and Sangram did it too didn't they? The only difference is that last time, it was Bigg Boss himself who ordered them to do so and they couldn't retaliate, but this time, it's their fellow contestants.
But I feel that if they were so concerned about not crossing a line, they shouldn't have made the first step across it. I mean what else did they expect? They initiated the first blow, so it was quite obvious that fireworks will happen. That's where the fault with the format lies. Bigg Boss loves to make the contestants fight which is why the creative team NEVER gives clear cut rules to perform a certain task. They leave it all on the contestants to interpret on their own. But different people have different perspectives of looking at a thing/situation. And they can't be tagged as wrong or right over their perceptions because what someone thinks as right could be wrong for others, and what someone thinks as wrong could be right for others. This show does not preach morality and righteousness. Everybody is equally evil and competitive. Why else would there be a weekly nomination procedure? So every time someone tags one or two contestants as "victims" or "culprits" sounds like the joke of the century. Every single contestant in that house is as much a victim as they are culprits. They have both good and bad sides to them. Every human does. So we can't exactly label someone as good or evil. But those who act like the victims are the most dangerous.
This is one of the reasons I don't like it when Salman tries to support one or two contestants labeling them as victims of the politics going on inside the house. Because they are not. Nobody is innocent or stupid there. They all know what is happening and they are equally involved in all the bitching and backbiting. But after all this, Salman himself becomes the victim of bashing by fan groups. People obviously don't like seeing their favorites getting insulted so Salman should be the clever guy here and follow his "Do Whatever You Want To Do Man" approach. He should just come, communicate with every contestant, ask them about what is going on in the house, give them some advice, have fun and leave. Because once he gets involved in the activities of the house, he himself becomes the "bali ka bakra" as every contestant there expects his support for them.
Coming back to the post, I'll just say that these Weekly tasks can be so much fun to do and see IF these contestants leave their personal grudges aside. But that seems impossible because if leaving grudges was so easy, the world would be at peace right now. Instead, they should learn to draw a line and not provoke someone to such an extent that it crosses the boundary of humanity. Be it a task or anything else. They are here for just 3 months only and are hardly going to meet each other again once outside, so it's better to remain indifferent if you don't like someone instead of picking on them for every minor reason just to boost your ego. Every contestant is interesting in their own way. And every contestant has a fun side which they should show as much as they can because at the end of the day, laughter is the best medicine. Be it Andy, Arman, Kushal, Sangram, Gauhar, Kamya, Tanisha, Sophia or Ajaz, they all are entertaining and funny in their own way. Especially Ajaz. And I hope with all my heart that he stops acting like a Roadside Romeo just for some extra footage because people love him more for his natural humor and crazy antics and not his Majnugiri.
In the end, all I'll say is that whichever team wins or loses, sportsmanship is the most important factor in any game. As long as that is present, even the loosing team can come off as being winners!!

It feels as if most of the time, these weekly tasks are a way for the housemates to take out their personal frustration on each other. That's when things begin to get nasty and ugly. A line needs to be drawn under such situations so that matters don't go out of hand like they always do. Yes the fights are entertaining at times, but when it happens all the time, it starts to get irritating. There's only so much one can take. This week's task "Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa" sounded like a very interesting one. Sort of like a mood changer had it been dealt with in a fun way. But after watching today's episode. it left a sour taste in my mouth because this task would have been SO much fun to do and watch if personal grudges had been kept aside. It was quite evident that Ajaz's motive behind choosing the "Dog Water Drinking" task for Kushal was to take out his personal frustration with him. Though I don't understand why because going crazy like that in jealousy for a girl you barely know is beyond me.
Kushal did the task without hesitating which was well and good for him and his team as it earned them a point.
