Are we really comparing a cat with one's own kid? I have a pet as well, but really?!?!
First of all, You might be strong emotionally, but do you think everyone is like you. Also, that cat was not a part of your flesh, Kamya's baby is. Also, many contestants use those pics to vent out their stress and frustrations in that house. Lastly, in that house there is nothing to do except for tasks and socialize. You might be busy in real life, so there are times you might not remember but, here there is constant reminder.
No, we are not comparing a child with a cat. If anything, I hold the cat much-much lower than a human child...
If you read the argument carefully, I said that if I can remember my cat - without any additional aids, why is it so hard for somebody to remember/miss their own child - without the child's picture?
She chose to come away from her daughter (her little, lovely daughter). It was her choice, wasn't it? She lived without those pictures for many weeks, didn't she? I can see how she would have needed another object to vent her sorrows - but honestly, in her place, I will never vent before a child's picture. So it baffles me when everybody gets outraged when those pictures are spoken about...
All I am saying is that in my opinion, it is not such a big deal. And just like hair that grows back, pictures can be re-printed!
Also to add: I know how painful it is to have something of value taken away. I don't doubt one bit that it will not be easy for her to give away those pictures - and I am happy that she didn't - but this whole melodrama about "meri bacchi ki pictures" is a bit too much for me to swallow.
