For argument's sake imagine you won a Gold Medal in say 2005. Someone says Congrats Chandni, you won a Gold Medal in 2006, isn't it basic that you will interrupt and say,"Sorry Sir, it was 2005"!😲

His PR agent has made him a marketable commodity for TV world and it merely boils down to that! 😆

Totally agree.

As far as COLORS TV is concerned, he is one of them, and part of their wrestling show. They need to upsell him to show that he is a national hero.

All part of the narrative of building an underdog who beat the odds to become a world champion!

Just that their world includes only India and WWP (South Africa), minions of the pro wrestling field.

I saw Sangaram first in Welcome Baazi Mehmaan (may be Payal helped him to get into TV show) and he was bitchy in that. (I didnt know anything about him but still I felt he was bitchy jealousy and fake) and I heard COLORS planned to select BB contestants from the same program. I think Colors selected him coz of his bitchiness and coz of Payal so that people can relate to him. Instead of introducing some other wrestler (who is completely new to media) its better to bring someone related to media. thats what i felt.

The evidence that you presented regarding his having PARTICIPATED in a wrestling event seems pretty OK and I have dropped an e-mail to WFI. As soon as they confirm, I will correct my post and say YES, Sangram atleast represented India in an event!

One should not be so stubborn that he has to deny the obvious truth as well.

Same way, by now, you should realise and accept that Sangram has not won any Comonwealth Gold Medal in 2005 /2006...and he has NOTHING to do with Sochi Winter Paralympic Games 2014!
