The only way I can imagine Armaan and security business in the same sentence is if it involves being protected from Armaan, the enemy of safety himself, his temper tantrums and his abusive ways.

Arey! Did I say you are making it up?😲

I merely added to what you said.

Suniel Shetty is a Mangalorean...he is from a Business family of generations. He must be doing other stuff as well as enterpreneurship runs in his blood!

A quick search result itself shows:

Suniel Shetty
Suniel Shetty is well known in restaurant business in Mumbai. The actor owns Mischief Dining Bar and Club H20, in Mumbai. Both the places are running successfully. He also has a 50 percent stake in Hakim Aalim's salons.
Expert speaks: He is doing well. He is making very small investments. It's not a big deal. He has put his fingers in too many pies; I don't know if he will be paying the required attention to each one.

Wow -- this Sunil guy is pretty loaded. Most of the other ones are still struggling hand to mouth and he seems to be doing pretty well for himself having been out of the limelight, and not even being fully up there at all.
Clever mind, mucho respect!!!

Cruiser, have you ever wondered that some people are doing so well back home? I couldn't help but wonder the dollar/ruble race that we run in our mechanical life and then you see some people back home practically minting money. I mean granted the rich and poor gap is huge but if the ones who seem to be making money, are making a whole lot of money...

Thats right.

But general thumb rule holds good in India and that is you need lot of money to make more money!

Though I have been to many parts of India, I would stick my expertise to Delhi-NOIDA-Gurgaon. Look at the absurdity! I have apartment in Gurgaon that cost me 2.5 Crores almost. As parents live in Delhi in our house and I am not in India, I rented this apartment and it fetches me a measly 32000 Rupees a month. Talk of Investment to Return ratio and its a measly 1.5% annual return!

In Central Asia a country like Kazakhstan, I could buy a similar apartment for 200,000$ and it would fetch atleast 1500$ a month or a handsome return of 9-10%

You open a restaurant in Delhi-Mumbai and if you offer quality, you have guaranteed footfalls, 100s of clients lining up daily. But do you make money? If you compare profits to investment ratio, its not everyone's cup of tea! A friend of mine has a South Indian food outlet in Gurgaon, he pays a rent of 1.5 lacs a month and after taking care of all expenses, makes a profit of mere 30-40000 bucks a month!

If you have loads of money and rather than keeping it in sacs you invest it in a showroom / resturant / apartment, its OK, But first gen entrepreneurs, have better options abroad still, I would say!
