But even after so many tweets why isn't anyone paying any attention to this scam of sangram :-( How come the newschannels not picking up the scent of fraudery.I mean usually these newschannels make so much stupid news,but when there's actual news they turn blind and deaf.

Is there anything we can do cruiser ji??? :-(

Exactly i am wondering why all the other newspapers channels etc are quiet about this big scam.

I do not find this crime less than any of the matchfixing in cricket. and i think whoever is behind this should be punished as it should not send the wrong precedence for the youngsters

How can anyone be interested in sport or anything if at all life is so easy and if PR & Media can make or break your lives. Its injustice to all the hardworking people who struggle in life to reach somewhere.

At one end inspirational movies like 'Bhaag Milka Bhaag is made, to show how not to give up in life and the other side we have frauds like Sangram Singh who think they can get away by cheating anyone cause media and big corporates are behind them

If this case is closed here after Bigg Boss then the whole exercise which Cruiserji BiggBoss etc & the rest of them is a waste

He has to be EXPOSED!!!!!

The repeated questions about the silence of news channels surprises me. I didn't knew they had so much credibility.😆

Most news channels in India are owned by clowns..sycophants and chamchas of the Delhi durbar. If Sangram has received some obscure award named after Rajiv Gandhi that would be a cue for them to keep their mouth shut. Anyway, Sangram is just a minor celebrity, not considered important enough for anyone to bother about.

Most journalists are corrupt to the core. If they chance upon a juicy story about someone, the first thing they would do is strike a deal with him or her. If some honest journalist who doesn't believe in striking deals to kill a story does an expose, the editor will shoot down the story. Editors wield extraordinary of power and earn crores due to their links with politicians, PR agencies, Bollywood stars, business leaders and other powerful people.

Most TV channels, especially new channels, are loss-making, but the editors/owners simply don't care..they have hundreds of avenues to earn free money from..Bollywood is a cash cow for news channels as they earn crores from movie promotion. Hasn't anyone of you seen top journos like Barkha Dutt, Arnab Goswami or Rajdeep Sardesai promoting latest Bollywood movies by blatantly misusing TV shows which are meant for discussing serious issues? Here's a report of how Barkha Dutt used her show 'We the People' to promote the movie 'Satyagraha'.

Nowadays, movie promotion budgets of big movies run into several crores..Almost half of the budget is spent on advertising or 'paid interviews' on TV channels. Now think - why would TV channels antagonize a huge superstar like Salman Khan who spends tens of crores on promoting his 100-crore movies in order to expose lies of a minor celebrity - an expose that would be forgotten in few days. A temporary boost of TRP ranking is hardly worth the loss of potential revenues that the owners or editors earn from movie promotions.

As far as the scams that are exposed on newspapers or TV channels, they are paid to do that too.. Investigative journalism is almost dead in India. When you see Arnab Goswami brandishing incriminating documents on his show, do you wonder from where he gets these documents so easily? Most of the times, documents are leaked by politicians to fix their rivals and not a result of investigative journalism

It doesn't work that way..

No PR agency in India is stronger or more powerful than the news channels. News channels can be vicious when they want to. But mostly it is a question of priorities. If it is more profitable to not touch a story, the media prefers to suppress it.

If Sangram Singh comes out of the house and says something stupid like 'I want Modi to become PM', all TV channels would compete with each other to become the first to expose his lies.😆

But isn't a fake claim of winning gold in Commonwealth game a worthy story for journalists 😔.Is there any way for journalists to get hint of this news??

Have dropped a detailed mail to Ministry of Youth Affairs and SPorts, MoS Mr. Jitendra Singh and Indian Paralympic Committee about Sangram's claim that he is face of 2014 Sochi Paralympic games.

These days Ministries are shit scared of not acting on specific complaints and I think there would be action in coming weeks!

No it isn't.

At least, not until someone important like Wrestling Federation of India or Sushil Kumar makes a hue and cry about it.

The question you should be asking is why is that people who are directly affected by Sangram's lies - WFI and all its affiliated wrestlers - mum about the issue?

If anyone of you have email address of any real wrestlers, contact them and ask them why they are not protesting against the lies of Sangram?

Contact WFI directly or any of its office bearers on its website.

Or even better, all of us should write on the facebook wall of WFI demanding that the organisation should make a public statement exposing his false claims. I'm sure it will be immediately deleted. But if it is not, then we have some hope that he would be exposed.
