I find pratyusha very real and innocent where as elli seem to be fake. Elli dumb salman encourages her every weekend . It's sad that he always bash pratyusha and make her look bad and confused .

I feel the same. Elli is way more intelligent to be controlled by anyone. She hasn't been controlled by anyone so far so I assume she wont be in future either.

Yes Salman didnt exactly call Ellie cunning. What he meant was she is a like a tubelight which flickers at first then suddenly glow. So before she was flickering but now she got into the game and giving her opinions and making her presence felt.
