Who is Salman to play moral judge on the show?

• Salman: (Gauhar's comments about Just a pretty face) Interpretation: You don't have heart, brain and everybody is making a fool of you. You're just a puppet.
  Gauhar: You're the only one saying this.
  Salman: * I'm not the only one saying this the whole country is saying this.

Who told Salman to act as a moral judge and speak on behalf of India? He receives feedback on Twitter. Not all Indians living in India are on Twitter.

Every week he misuses info. He is NOT supposed to tell them information about the outside world. He acts as a moral compass telling them they're going right or wrong. What is the point of the show then?

I think the only good part about Today's show was the caller of the week and his question.

He is revealing information. If you follow Big Brother then the host never interferes this much in the show. They don't reveal outside info.

BB appears to be very much scripted when Salman starts preaching because every Saturday he comes and reveals info that will change the equations inside the house.

This is supposed to be a show about folks that are competing with each other to win the title they are supposed to live in an isolated environment with no info of the outside world. What's the point of the whole game then when Salman tells them if they are playing right or wrong & reveals public's opinion?
