I would totally walk out. Respect is a two way street and I can usually judge somebody within 5 seconds.
Its not like Im going to spend my life with that person so who cares, I would simply walk out let them get butt hurt over it.

Deal with it

Nah, if she had said I don't want to talk about it, Gauhar would have pounced on that and turned to Kamya to say 'See, baat karney se darthey hain', given an evil cackle and then would have started on a bashan about right and wrong. This was a perfect mooh pe tamaacha, Gauhar never saw it coming and for once, was lost for words.

That's what Andy calls a 'Hand-less Thappad'😆

I am NOT talking about Gauhar.
Is it rude to walk away from someone when they are trying to speak to you? Yes, the person speaks a lot, she's very expressive in conveying what she thinks, yes she has a loud voice, yes she may even be angry...BUT would you just walk off without saying anything at all?

How arrogant can you get? At least have the decency to say "I do not want to speak to you about this, I'm going". Have some respect for yourself and your upbringing.

I have virtually banned a few people on this forum - so even if they are talking to me I don't respond to them - no that it isn't rude - it's called boycotting.

In real life too - we do that with people and issues we dislike, don't we - "Let me know when you've finished talking about XYZ subject" or pick up something to read or switch on the TV - these are all non-confrontational ways of saying "I'm not interested in what you are saying and instead of creating a song and dance about it, I'm going to ignore the issue".

It is an example of good upbringing
when a person withdraws from a potential confrontation rather than behave like a fish-wife. It is an example of bad upbringing when you force a person to reveal their personal opinions about others esp. when the person has made it clear that they would rather not talk about it - which Sofia clearly conveyed to Gauhar.

At the end of the day the simple maxim that works is "Having the Freedom of Speech does not necessarily mean that you also have a Right to be Heard".

EPIC!!!!!!

Cyrus Broacha @TheBakraMan

The reason why Sophia walked away when Gauhar was talking to her was coz she was afraid of her lips falling off while talking #BB7
