The government will have to scrap the SS and all these entitlement schemes sooner than later because of the debt bomb.

I could be wrong about this, but from what I have noticed it is the older generation that is more careful with money. Very, very careful. They were paid in peanuts back then and they put in a lot of hours. They can't afford to do a lot with their Social Security. It is not like they get a lot... They manage to pay their bills. That's about it.

I don't blame them for complaining about the government. I could be biased but I feel sorry for old people because I see them trying. I see some of them still working hard to support their family. I see others still trying to save up money. I feel they have been part of the working class generation... ones that worked hard for money... ones that relied on security... they are more cautious than risky.

I'm not sure what is wrong with Tanisha. Prior to BB she was an unsuccessful actress, but she appeared smart and normal human being wise. BB has messed with her brains it seems. But she also seems to be suffering from a mild case of butt-in-mouth disease.

By the time i start liking tanisha she makes me change my opnion on her again...Last week she was good and this week again back to same behaviour 😕

Armaan is also super rich... 17 flops banane k budget kam nhi hota 😆

Some ppl do abuse the system, no doubt abt tht. However, I would like to think a majority of them don't. Some genuinely need the aid. I wish the government was more effective in weeding out those that abuse this privilege.

There is a cost benefit aspect to it. The cost of finding and punishing abusers shouldn't be more than the benefits. In Florida they tried to weed out drug abusers from welfare systems. They thought they would save when they kicked out abusers. However, the percentage of actual abusers is not very large. It turned out to be more expensive to run the drug testing and weed out abusers, than just give welfare to everyone qualified.

It depends on what philosophy you subscribe to. I believe it is ok to allow freeloaders as long as no genuinely needy person is denied. Others believe it is ok to deny a few genuinely needy people here and there as long as you don't allow freeloaders.

If people like Arman are friends then one doesn't need any enemies. He is a jealous, control freak and a bully too. Tanisha for her own welfare should not be with Arman even for the sake of game! Her being too docile, meek and compliant with Arman is so disconcerting.

That depends on which generation of old people you are talking about. The people born during the depression and WWII era knew exactly how harsh life is and were frugal, hardworking and often got screwed over by the govt.

The baby boomers were born in an era of flourishing middle class. They took a comfortable middle class lifestyle as granted and permanent. They assumed the depression and war were far behind and they were in an era of ongoing future prosperity. Those who were in their 20-30's during the eighties were the worst, as they took global economy to the height of consumption/commercialism - created all the bubbles and then crashed it.

And now they turn around and accuse the millennial of being whiny, while the fact is that the present generation of 20-30 came to age in a crashed economy, sluggish job market, monumental student debt and are working as hard as the depression era youth. However, because it was easy for boomers to work hard and accumulate wealth, they assume that new youth are just not working hard enough. They blame everyone but themselves for the economic challenges.
