Don't you think Armaan and Tanisha make a very cute couple?š
In tonight's episode, they fight (atlast!) and here is the sneak peakš:
I find their tonight episode's 'fight' if one may call it one, extremely cute and funny!š
I am reminded of my close friend's elderly father here. He and his wife make an awesome couple.
Uncle keeps coming up with his 'Bandar Ghudkis' and 'Geedad Bhabkis' and Aunty, like a Silent Lioness, would merely smile, never really taking him seriously at all. In their home, aunty is responsible for every decision always, though with a (meaningless) frown on his face, he would disapprove of almost everything she decides ...(merely a case of registering a useless protest)! š...
-------AND YET...there are rare situations where he decisively asserts himself. š” Such is their perfect understanding and gut feel, that on these occasions, his mom WOULD KNOW, by instinct, understanding and gut feel, that hubby dear means business today and there would be no protest whatsoever! š²
Armaan-Tanisha seem to be a couple in that old-gen mold. š
Both belonging to previous generations in their mindset and behavior. We may not like to see a couple where apparently, female appears to be a submissive sort, but fact is there are millions of couple like that and especially in generations that our parents and grand-parents belonged to.
Point is Armaan and Tanisha seem to be a very compatible pair.š
In the above Vid he tells her he is upset that she mixes up wth someone (may be Gauhar or that leechad fellow Ajaz), and she registers a protest saying she mixes up, it doesn't mean she doesn't maintain distance! Armaan gets upset in his heart gets up and hides himself in a corner!
I am not a professional psychologist, but this simple act of getting up from conversation scene and hiding in a corner amply illustrates he realises he is wrong, his nature does not allow him to eat on his words, so he gets up and sneaks away from Tanisha. š
When Tanisha approaches him, he tells her to go away! (His way of admitting he doesn't know how to handle this situation and best is to not poke him at this point of time).
Tanisha persists and says "Arey bhai if I speak to someone it doesn't mean I do not maintain distance!"...Fallen Hero has no idea how to wriggle out of this hole and comes up with a 'Bandar Ghudki' of "Dafa Ho Jao!"š¤£
The above is merely a Sneak Peak clip but I can bet, both would have
made up within no time. For the simple reason that the two are extremely compatible. šš¼
She knows his words mean nothing and he is like an overgrown kid for her and he too knows no one can understand him the way, Tanisha does.š
Armaan was a spoilt brat, who has had a pampered lifestyle having been born in a stinking rich family! No prizes for guessing, he must have been an impulsive, aggressive young man in his hey days. Over years, he would have mellowed down due to his career failure and his inability to forge a successful personal relationship and perhaps a realisation that years are slipping by him!š
And then...BIG BOSS happens to him!š¤
Suddenly he is pulled out of his daily routine of perhaps, drinking with his chums, occasional bouts of lout behaviour, ------Oye Paa Ji, Tussi great Ho Paaji type of Lukkhapan...and here he is, suddenly thrown infront of 84 Cams!š¤
As I try to see from his point of view, it is indeed one hell of a challenge for him. Very young Pratyusha, young Kushal-Gauhar-Asif and others around him. Suddenly he is thrown into a situation where he has to keep his aggressive nature in control and yet, retain the authoritative position in house of a man who did leading roles in 17 movies and one whose close circle, once pampered his ego hailing him as the next big thing who would rule tinsel town and may be even today regularly pampering his bruised ego over their daily boozing sessions!š²
This is what makes him behave like an alternating current's cycle! š
We see the highs when for days and even weeks he goes into his shell, tries to stay aloof from everyone and everything and then as soon as helplessness of a Big Boss task makes him come in close contact with others, because of the lifestyle he has lived for well over 40 years, we see him crash to the lows where he explodes and appears capable of blowing away his adversary with his furious nose to nose level exhalations!š”
Atleast I do not have much idea of lifestyles that most of the other contestants have lived in their childhood and live currently, but Armaan's case is pretty much an open book. All know his dad was a big Producer in 70s and 80s and this guy has been a pampered brat all his life. It is easier to understand why he behaves the way he does.
He appears disgusting when he abuses, downright condemnable when he bullies underdogs like Asif or Andy šš¼...but give the man his due! ...He shares a very cute relationship with Tanisha. š
And to appreciate their compatibility, we only need to look at our parents, grand parents, uncles and aunties!...They both belong to a different era...not because of their age! Because of their mindsets!š
