Firstly, let me make it very clear that I am NO fan or supporter of Kamya and infact as of now I don't know whom I want as the winner with preference being for Appu, Ellie, Asif.
I feel that this forum is extremely unfair and biased against Kamya with no genuine fault of hers. I see many posts and topics which have said nasty things about her and called her Kamini etc... but I don't know why ?????
To me she is a very strong charactered woman who keeps her composure most of the times and is beginning to come to terms with new found divorcee status (which is quite a taboo still in India) and also of now being a single parent to her daughter. Lets face it, life for a woman her age with she being a single parent & bread earner who is past her career prime will be tough.
On this show I have seen her a good player most times and have not seen her do the following :
- She has not been abusive towards anyone in the house and took the barrage from Armaan very well (without abusing him back). She has not hit or got violent with anyone.
- She does not come across arrogant or pompous like 1 serial wonders like Kushal or Prats or Gauhar. Never spoken on anyone on their Aukat.
- I have not seen he flirt with any of the male members or try to get into a cheap relationship unlike the likes of Gauhar, Tanisha, Pooja Bedi, Diana Hayden, Claudia, Sana, Veena, Anupama Verma, Payal Rohatgi, Monica Bedi etc etc
- I have not seen her flirt with Salman or try to go out of the way to get his attention say like a Sana last year or Gauhar this year.
- I don't see her give massages like Tanisha or Rupali or Pooja. Nor have I ever seen her dressed oddly or cheaply. Or remain shabby or without bathing etc
- She does not come from any influential background and nor is she on the heights of popularity in the TV scene... compared to others in the house.
- She gets the least attention from Salman in most of the weekend shows and nor does she seek it. GauShala and TanMan have their love story, Elli has her looks, Andy has his humour, some past contestant & present have been Salman's friends and got undue advantage.
This lady does not have much going for her in terms of channel pull, influencial or filmi background or friends with the host (like Mahek, Arman, Rajat, Hazel, Vindoo, Sameer Soni). Yet she is doing well hang in there.
- She does all tasks with conviction and does not give up, infact is stronger than the guys.
- I have not seen her play the Bechari card and keep crying like Aashka, Juhi, Shweta, Delu, Rudali etc in the previous seasons.
- I have NEVER seen Kamya being a fence sitter... she has always taken a stand. May be right or wrong but has not shied away from speaking her mind.
- I have NEVER seen her lying on anyone's face or make false promises. Like Nominate someone and then say I did not take your name. Armaan did that with Anita, Prats did it with Sangy, Sangy did it with Prats, Asif did it with Armaan, Shilpa did it a countless times.
Is her ONLY grouse that she bitches / gossips & tries to form groups... well but then that is the order of the day or the requirement of the show. There is NO ONE who does not indulge in gossip in some point of time or try to form a group or be part of one. You can see the history of big boss... you guys hate her coz she does play the game well ???
What is she suppose to do ? Roll or bend over ???? This is a game and has to be played like a player. She needs to target people, form groups and do idhar ki udhar. Its all in the game (unless you r Navjot Siddhu)
So why the hatred ??? I know she can never win and nor I want her to, but the longer she extends her stay, the more money she will make which will do good for herself and her kid's future. As I said, she has passed her TV prime (just like Urvashi) and younger gen has taken over. This is her first reality show (I think apart from comedy circus)... so let her make her living and give the lady a break.
(I am a woman and mother of 2 and so maybe can understand a bit how she feels)
