While I have to hand it to Pratyusha about the way she stood up to Armaan and her issue with him and all the Tanisha talk, I have a slightly different take on her and this behavior in the last week.
She distanced herself from Armaan this week...AFTER it was very clear from last weekend's episode that Tan-Man are not being projected well; AFTER Kamya's rants about Armaan; AFTER she saw that the entire house was going against the two.
My point is - She did not shy away from throwing Armaan and Tanisha under the bus just to gain brownie points from the other group and \ or audience. For eg: she told Armaan she did not like his ridiculing Andy/Sangram privately after showing his fake concern to them after their fight early morning; she said Tanisha believed that Gauhar was faking the fainting incident...etc...she made some more points like these PUBLICLY (in the weekend edition or to a larger opposite group). So she did not refrain from disclosing things which were said in confidence just to show "Hey, I have an opinion too!!"
I've seen a lot of people switching sides (happens in this format), but not a lot of people go on revealing group conversations publicly. That's distasteful, and makes Pratyusha a very untrustworthy, unreliable person.
All these things were said by Armaan and Tanisha in Pratyusha's presence as they trusted her or at least believed her to be in the same 'group'. We've all seen that even Prats has snickered \ laughed \ agreed with a lot of mean comments and has been mean herself in the first few weeks - that's one reason that a lot of people dislike her. And the Andy-Sangram fight that she brought up in her 'reveal all' session to others, happened just a day before she had her 'why-we-are-friends-no-more' talk with Armaan. So are we to believe that she suddenly sees Tanisha in a bad light, after loitering with Tan-Man till a few hours back??
Suddenly, she comes up with a holier-than-thou attitude for Armaan and Tanisha, because she realizes that she is part of a sidelined group??!!! 😲
While it's refreshing to see her taking a stand, but the motivation behind it is opportunistic, devious. And it just underscores my initial opinion of her that she is very immature.
