Ok...now my point of view.I dont like certain ppl on this show. Let me give an example. I do not like Tanisha. So no matter what she does or says, I've already formed an opinion about her in my head and she can never do anything right when maybe, she is actually doing the right thing. So when she jokes or says something I will always find fault with her. Similarly, if I like someone, I do not realize the kinda impact that person is having by virtue of their actions or their statements. So Kushal fans may not find it a big deal and they may truly think he is a baccha. But those who are not Kushal fans, do truly understand how incorrectly he behaved and how demeaning his statements were.My point is, tomorrow if one of my favs says something, I may not find fault with what they did and may think it is not a big deal. So I think, that's what the Kushal fan meant when they said Chill. That was their opinion and we can leave it at that. There are lot more members here who disagree with what Kushal said and we can still continue to debate.
Oh, I agree with your points. But my case is different. I DID appreciate and like Kushal in the earlier days of the show. Despite the fact that people were lambasting him, I totally appreciated him for standing up for Gauhar, which I thought was a very valiant and loyal act. But then that is not where it ends. People fail to understand that homophobia is a social curse. We are in the 21st century, for God's sake. We have people contributing to our society from various walks of life. So where do such thoughts really fit in. Isn't it high time we moved on?
I have nothing against Kushal's fans. But yes, they won't be spared if they come to my discussion thread and ask me to chill (which I stand firm to my word that it does mean shut up and move on!). Anyway, it was nice talking to you. You sound much mature and sensible than your friends.
Peace! 😊
