There have been times that people have told the members of the thread that they DO NOT WANT to open the live stream and would rather have members of this thread give them full-updates for the day. I'm sorry that is going a bit too much.

Anybody who logs in to the thread and asks what has happened during the day is given a summary update from those members who've been here for a some time. Mostly after watching the live feed for 4 hours we get to see maybe 30 minutes of small exchanges.

You may restrict members from interacting with each other - that will only result in all the regular members deserting this thread altogether.

The other alternative is to let this thread proceed the way it is doing so currently. If there are so many restrictions on the Feed thread - the mods may please stop pinning it to the top post. As it is, we are usually into 30-40 pages before the thread is pinned.

Purva , please check all the posts in the topic. All chatting related to Bigg Boss and the Live Feed is there as is. If only you had seen the topic before, you would have noticed that the posts which have no relation to Bigg Boss have been trashed. A lot of members have reported about chatting going on in this thread which has no relation to Bigg Boss at all and difficulty in finding posts related to Live Feed updates. There is a chatting thread created specially for the purpose of chatting about random things but this topic is not for that.

@Ishan - but that is precisely my point - unless and until we have dedicated members updating one single post in the first page with what is happening in the live-feed there would always be a difficulty in finding what has happened.

Last year SimplyPurple used to give those updates and the sheer effort and time was commendable. However if we see an empty garden area for 2 hours, there's bound to be some chit-chat and even if we are discussing the show - those who've just logged in will have difficulty finding those updates. A simple expedient in this case would be to ask the members about the update instead of hitting the report button.

Also I agree that at times the discussions veer into non-related areas too and that can be problematic for some. But again we are here for 7-8 hours at least. Most people have this thread opened on their laptop at work/school along with the feed - would it be reasonable to expect them to jump to the chat thread to say something to one member non-related to BB and then jump back to this thread to see what is the update here?

Like I said - ask us what is the update and we are willing to give that update - till such time that we can find someone who is willing to pull off the same impossible feat that SimplyPurple performed last year.
