Hi Godfather. I have been a silent fan of your posts, one liners etc but today for the first time I felt your posts is bit off the track.

Why do you think it is demeaning?? At one stage, we would say gays are also human have equal right etc. and make their marriages legal and on the other hand calling someone gay would be considered demeaning??

There can be no double standard. If gay(s) demand full social rights and equality, they can not demand the protection from social embarrassment as well.

My post has nothing to do with if Asif is gay or not (I do not care) though I did find this guy very odd who thinks it is perfectly ok for him to say his sisters are hot.

However, when gays are being given equal right, Indian supreme court accepted them (article 376??) they can not demand any more special protection. If I do not mind someone someone calling me heterosexual, they should not mind someone calling them gay.

Equality works both way.

Aakash,

Yup buddy, Gay ofcrs have equal human rights and we all acknowledge it. But bringing someone's sexual orientation for the sake of defending a viewpoint does not make a sense. For example, Andy insulted Armaan's father but I dont see why would armaan insult him for his sexual orientation in return? That attack was intended mainly to put him down. There you are disrespecting a person.

And looking at Armaan's expressions in video, i thought he was bringing Asif into conversation for no reason. He seem to be more upset with him for lying about demands in wishing wall. I mean if Asif is a gay and you talk about it normally, its totally fine. But dont mention it in bitching sessions with friends just to put the guy down. He is clearly holding a grudge against him.

When something is said in bad taste it is going to be opposed
Arman did not say asif is gay in a good way
He said it in a demanding way
If equality is the issue , gays are never treated as equal in India
I can't believe you are supporting arman
He has no right to comment on anyone's personal life on television
