Salman's fee is not 5 crores. These stars lie about their fee to make a fool of future Clients (big business houses who hire them for endorsements). The most accurate figure that Salman is getting is 2.75 crores per episode pre tax. He got less than 2.50 crores last season. 😃

Now calculate. This season will be on for 15 weeks and Salman will have 2 episodes per week.

2.75 x 30 = 82.50 crores. This is the figure Salman will be getting. Not bad for just 30 days work (maximum, including promotions, press conferences etc.). The Channel's budget must be around 100 crores approximately or little less than that, including all Production costs, Contestants fees, Prize money etc.

It is expected that the channel will get gross revenues of around 95 crores this season. Only if they receive over 100 crores revenue, they will make a profit. So we can say that Bigg Boss is a No Profit No Loss venture for Colors Tv. They maintain this show just because of the publicity it generates for the channel. They are not making much money out of it. 😊

Whatever he earn he has to give tax so govt. get's more money and politician will be happy.
