To me i believe her reasons for backstabbing Rish and supporting Prince in the captaincy task are :
1- She thought that some wildcards will def make it to the finale with some members of the cool group , she thought it would be def her and Rishabh , but Gizzy's entry and Rish's improving equation with Mandy has made her insecure which is why she has shifted her target from he cool group to Gizzy and Mandy .
She knows If Rish becomes captain he won't nominate Gizzy nor Mandy , while if Prince wins there is a high chance he will target any one of these 3 before Priya (since she contributed in making him the captain ).
2-Another reason could be her being unable to digest the fact that she lost so pathetically to Rishabh in the LB task . Hence she is trying to imply that 'even though Rish won against me , i still did not let him be the captain' !! its like she wants to show that Rish won't surpass her as she has the upper hand, and of course damage control for her idiocy in the task .
3-Or it could be that she just wants to be a contributor to drama and changing dynamics in the show .
Generally Priya is playing like Dimpy , audience hardly connect with her but she creates lots of drama .
Im extremely repulsed by her and what she did to Rish was so uncalled for coz Rish was expecting her support , and finally they had a chance to weaken the cool group
