I'm not saying that he's insecure and wants to himself from nominations. Nominations don't affect him as such and that can be seen. But if he is to stay in the game for long, he is going to need as many people as he can on his side because he's the number one target of majority of the house mates. Priya, Mandana or Gizelle won't obviously support him out of the goodness of their hearts.

Anyone who has seen previous seasons and comes in with the intention of winning will know that the best way to win is to go solo. The more you are with a group, the more your chances to win go down.

An alliance is important but will only take you so far, if you are a lone wolf and are clicking with the audience you will win over someone who went ahead in a group.

I think he has a bigger picture in mind.
