@Shaz nd GG - BB got Rimi all wrong. They totally failed to read her and figure her out and agree if it's abt breaking a person or getting a reaction out of a person (and dey only kept getting worse with Rimi to get a reaction out of her), they were an epic fail. And Rimi too said, it bacame her vs BB.đ
I have said this before and now after watching her post BB, I feel BB needed to do out of box thinking to tackle her and I feel Rimi too would have enjoyed it.Am watching the beginning epis, only Rimi's part and in the first episode itself she said "Main aisi hi hoon". She remained the same throughout, only ppl couldn't figure her out.đ
Bigg Boss 9' contestant Rimi Sen's much-awaited eviction not only brought a sigh of relief to housemates, but also became the key reason of jubilation for thousands of ardent fans of the popular reality show. After receiving votes that were far less than what Mandana Karimi, Rochelle Rao, Rishabh Sinha and Digangana Suryavanshi had earned, Rimi had to be ousted from the show.
But is the popular actress disappointed with the decision? Nah! "I didn't enter the house with the aim of winning the show. My only intention was to experience what happens inside the house. How do housemates react to a particular situation? How will I be able to gel with those I don't know? How will I be able to endure them? How much will it put my patience to test? Will I be able to survive the game which is all about one's psychology? These were a few questions that compelled me to accept the offer."
While the actress showed zilch interest in the tasks that were assigned to the housemates, she was rigid about the fact that she wouldn't exit from the show on her own. After surprising everyone with her typical remark Mai Aisi Hi Hoon', Rimi also stated, quite clearly, that she stayed back in the show for money. With money on her mind, it was obvious that Rimi engaged less with others, was less considerate about work, but focused to stay on. "Money is really important. Bahut log bahut kuch karte hain paise ke liye. There are those who'll stoop to any level to earn money, but for me it is all about earning it the right way. I agreed to do Bigg Boss because I wanted to know how they operate, if they give great payment."
When we insisted her to tell us if she ended up winning an amount which was far more than what the winner would bag, she said, "Main ek jail se nikal ke central jail mei nahi jaana chahti. But yes the incentive was huge. Achcha tha."
Even though Rimi has appeared in popular films like Dhoom', Hungama', Golmaal-Fun Unlimited', she likes staying grounded and doesn't let fame affect her. "Main apne aap koi koi big star nahi samajhti hoon. I have done 10-12 films and I'm happy for the adulation that has come my way. I'm certainly not one of those who would throw tantrums. If everybody spoke to me with respect that was solely because of my behaviour in the house. Besides I also did everybody's chores - cooked parathas, washed clothes and did the utensils too."
When given the opportunity, everybody has the potential to be unbelievably languid. And that stands true for Bigg Boss evicted contestant Rimi Sen. She may have come across as an energetic go-getter in movies, but in the show, it's just impossible to make her bother herself with ridiculous tasks. The tendency to be lazy may have been seen as her strategy, but that doesn't help her any applause.
Unperturbed by the criticism that she earned for her lackadaisical attitude on the show, Rimi didn't let Salman Khan's furious words affect her. "Salman Khan really motivated me to perform better in the house. But to be honest, I can't be manipulative. Neither do I know how to deal with those play politics. As far as Salman's comment on me not getting any work in Bollywood goes, I fell there is no comparison between Bigg Boss and Bollywood. One needn't do any task or get into unnecessary arguments to survive in Bollywood. For 3 years before joining the show I didn't do any work. And now that I'm out of the house, I might not be seen. I might disappear. But that doesn't affect me."
