Rimi and the Plumber analogy

I have come across this analogy a few times in reference to Rimi. I am not into finance and have a layman's knowledge about it. But even then it's ridiculous to compare a plumber u have hired for some work coming to your house, but refusing to do the work and yet demanding payment to Rimi being in the BB house, doing supposedly nothing and yet wanting to get paid.

The analogy itself is wrong. A plumber gets paid for his service. A BB contestant gets paid according to his/ her popularity + his/ her time in the BB house.

Also nowadays u have people who provide specific services like an electrician or a TV mechanic etc. When one calls them, even if ur product has no problem or even if it turns out to be a minor problem taht u have already fixed or could have fixed, yet u have to pay a fees to them for having ome over. So u can't deny them their fees saying that u already fixed it or it was a minor problem.

Now coming to Rimi, i wld take a lawyer for analogy (as they get paid for their expertise + their time), though that too isn't perfect. So someone hires a lawyer and in their contract they have the clause that they can fire the lawyer anytime, but if the lawyer leaves on his free will he wld have to pay a penalty. So the lawyer is working and charges his client according to teh hours he puts in. Now for some reason he no longer wishes to work for the client, so he asks the client to let him go as he does not want to leave on his own knowing he wld hv to pay the penalty and if he does not let him go he would have to keep paying him as he's still hired by him. So in such a case the client wld definitely let him go or keep paying him for his time ?(which does not make any sense).

So similarly Rimi says she wants to go but BB is not letting her go and as she's in the house, they have to pay her her weekly amount. So BB not letting her go would either mean BB is stupid and just retains her to get back at her for not bending to their ways or Rimi is an asset for them and hence they r not letting her go.😊

We can call it as Rimi's Analogy...It's an Indian Government Employee's analogy...where he applied for job...he got the job...but it's not the kind of job he imagined...he is made permanent...he wants all salary incentives bonus but doesn't wants to work...and because he is permanent The higher authority and management wants him to take Voluntary Retirement...but he wants to get suspended by authority with salary,pension,gratuity,service,bonus but don't want to take VRS,and management can't just suspend him on any grounds,as he is regular on job and he is permanent also...

I am totally clueless abt govt employees, but doesn't voluntary retirement entail pension and the works? Also I think If u r suspended the u would lose out on the benefits na? I suppose it's the exact opposite of what the payment and penalty terms are in BB. In BB voluntary exit means the housemate has to pay the penalty and being suspended or evicted means they get paid for the duration they stayed. 😳

everyone are saying Rimi is not giving content and she is lazy

please give me a break.. BB is not an idiot to keep Rimi without any profit, everything runs on money and if BB is not getting money due to Rimi then he wonot keep her for one week also because BB is not doing charity here to keep increasing Rimi bank balance for nothing...

Off the topic (sorry TM)

one request from my side to Rimi: i hate a task in BB which is mouth to mouth sending of things during luxury budget or it can be part of any task (like sending fishes mouth to mouth)... i want Rimi reject to do that task on point blank

i want her to say 'i am not going to do that gatiya task' on BB face... as a Rimi fan i will celebrate on that day 😆

Thanks for this post...the explanations n examples many came up with were either dumb or hilarious😆

Ur example is much apt😆

And above that...ppl are ranting about money getting wasted as if they have paid Rimi from their own pocket...come on, its BB's money, if they have no probs keeping her inside and still paying her, why such much hue n cry abt it by random ppl😆

My tv stopped working ,repairing guy came and removed 4 screws in back panel,ek second mein bola,"picture board has to be replaced " ..We thought better option was to replace tv...He got paid 300 to put back those 4 screws...

Kaash mein bol sakthi😉,"4 screww ka 300😲,U r a FREELOADER😆 ,nikal kyun nahi jaathe mere ghar se "🤣..

Colors wale are surely making enough returns on rimi investment,😉SMS ki baarish ho rahi hogi 😆varna they would have found ways to evict her..

And in my case my hubby got into a yearly contract with this guy who does service of computers and so has to pay him the yearly charges irrespective of whether he is needed or not. And the best or worse part is I can fix computer problems better than him.😭 FREELOADER kahi ka!😆

i know ,i learned to fix chota mota computer troubles myself after getting pissed off by my yearly paid computer banda🤣..my computer would work fine in front of service man,woh gaya problems phir se shuru😵😆..So now i get only computer parts warranty ,service ki jab zaroorath hogi tabb sochenge😆
