Not everything is racist, sexist, mysognistic etc etc.
What Aman said was right. Among the two, he definitely is the one who hides behind Kish...has no mind of his own..Kish fully dominates him. How is tht relevant in this show?
Duh! Coz they are participating as a couple. So yes, its relevant n rightly pointed by Aman.

Man up!
Don't be such a baby!
She wears the pants in the relationship.

Etc..these are all pretty common terms used.
Nothing sexist n nothing to do with gender equality.

But what was the need to say he is like a woman!? I am a woman and I am sorry I have a backbone unlike him! That was a very sexist comment to make!

Although I agree with Aman's observation, but I must say it was a sexist comment. Being in 2015's it doesnt matter if your wife/girlfriend is stronger than you. I rather enjoy that! 😊

I agree. It was not sexist at all. We belong to a society where a man is supposed to act as the Head and take a stand on things. If Suyyash had taken a stand even once in the house, I would have understood. But from what I see, he's riding on Kishwer's back completely.

Bold : Well, your expectation is solely based on gender stereotype and that forms the basis of sexism in my opinion! What I comprehend from your expectation is that you are talking about the society that still expects us to follow the traditional gender roles and in that case let's say the following behavior/attitude/traits should differentiate a man/boy and woman/girl (which according to me is completely wrong)

  • Men should become doctors while women should become nurses
  • Men should be the breadwinners while women should stay at home to take care of the family
  • Men should be tall and muscular while women should be petite and thin
  • Boys should play with gadgets/cars while girls should play with dolls
  • Boys should play football while girls should play volleyball
  • etc. etc.
I did not mean to be offensive! I just wrote what I felt :)

The bolded part is NOT a gender stereotype in any form or way. However, yes, the points you had added are surely gender stereotypes. Playing football and become a doctor have nothing to do with a MAN TAKING A STAND WHEN HE MUST!

i disagree. aman was wrong. its very imp to av an individuality of ur own bt i see no harm if a man follows his wife or gf. it is bcoz of d constant bashing that suyash stopped helping kish in tasks. he voted for prince yesterday. wat else he can do to prove that he is playing his own game.
i do agree that he is nt that smart to understand d game bt i disagree wid wat aman said. he is no one to judge their relationship. he could av given n number of reasons to nominate bt this particular reason was pathetic n below d belt.

😆 everything is not sexist .Say why a girl want to be slim and guy want to be a body builder? so according to so called people guys should look fr being in shape and have curves and girls should go to gym fr bodybuilding? somethings are naturally suited to guys more than girls.
Thn again aman said it bcz kishwar takes stand on behalf of suyash but suyash does nt do the same.If suyash would hv done the same thn no one would call her aurat.
Thn again being dominant in relationship does nt mean reversing role fully.Acc to saying a husband/bf is there to protect a girl and if gf protects his guy that is perfectly ohk but that does nt mean guy should scream bachao bachao n his gf saves him from goons.

To be honest.. It was a W*F statement that came from Aman's mouth

Salman, being a MCP himself, was happy with it.

It was a sexist comment and insulting to both men and women.
