Bigg Boss 9 had a grand premiere yesterday with Salman Khan being the perfect host. He tried his best to add spark to an otherwise dull beginning of one of Indian Television's infamous reality shows. At times we wonder what would have happened if Salman had stuck to his resolve to not host this season! That thought can give shudders to the channel! But we aren't talking about what ifs' here. Rather we want to know your opinion on an important question. Now, we were the first ones to tell you about the couples who are in danger zone this week; namely Arvind Vegda- Ankit Gera, Roopal Tyagi- Digangana Suryavanshi, Rimi Sen- Suyyash Rai and Yuvika Choudhary- Vikas Bhalla. Out of them, one jodi or an individual will get eliminated on Sunday! But before that happens, we would like to know who according to you will leave the Bigg boss house?
Yesterday, you saw Ankit Gera, the rumoured casanova of Indian Television enter the house with singer Arvind Vegda. Now Ankit being a TV actor will have some pull on the audience. That could work in his favour. But he is also known to be a player and notoriously so. Rumours were abound that he was known to two-time once! His ex Roopal Tyagi is also in the show and is tied up with Digangana Suryavanshi. That will surely add spice to the episode and the glimpses of tonight's episode proved that it will be a cracker. She nominates him for elimination despite claiming before entering Bigg Boss house that Ankit doesn't bother her.
Rimi Sen and Suyyash Rai along with Yuvika Choudhury-Vikash Bhalla are the other two jodis in the danger zone. We know it is only a day and they have already been put up for eliminations and you might scream unfair but then Bigg Boss 9 is not a place to be fair. It's a game and has certain rules! Bigg Boss 9 started off with a bang yesterday and the contestants were visibly excited to enter the house. Every pair was seen talking to one another and the fellow contestants as the night dawned on them. As the premiere episode ended, the contestant pairs were asked to chose one-by-one whose bags they wanted to save out of either of their bags, while the other bags would be thrown away. Day 1 picks up from where
Bigg Boss left us last night. Take a look at the major highlights of the first day for the contestants of Bigg Boss 9 :
# The show started with Bigg Boss asking the contestants to decide whose bag they want to procure. Once they finish deciding, the participants are called to a room with a shredding machine at 3 am. One by one, all the pairs were asked whose bags they want to save, while the other contestant's bags were shredded. The reactions of all the contestants were just amazing and to watch out for. Roopal Tyagi started crying on seeing her pair, Digangana Suryavanshi's bag being crushed. While, Suyyash Rai and Rimi Sen also had a small fight while discussing whose bag to save. in the end Suyyash, gave way to save his pair's bag.
# Prince Narula had vowed to trouble his co-contestants who had laughed at him. He is seen discussing his master plan with his pair Rochelle Maria Rao. He mentions that they should stick together, along with Keith Sequeira and Mandana Karimi and form a group. They would then safe guard themselves throughout the competition.
# The contestants make way to sleep as
Bigg Boss turns off the lights. Everyone sleep beside their pairs, but as soon as they sleep Arvind Vegda starts snoring loudly. This wake everyone and everyone starts giggling one-by-one. Ankit Gera finally wakes up his pair and tells him that he is disturbing everyone.
# Lights are turned on and "Yeh dosti hum nahin todenge " is played. So apt for a show where the contestants are told to move around with their pairs with belts around their waist.
# Roopal Tyagi is asked about his relationship status. She reveals that she is single and hasn't married yet. When asked about her relationship with Ankit Gera, she revealed that it was two years ago and she hasn't kept anything in mind. She wants to be cordial with him, but she says that he is acting different in the house and he is not like this is in real life.
# Bigg Boss talks to the contestants for the first time in the day and tells that they would have to nominate other pairs for eliminations in a while.
# Keith walks out of the washroom wearing Mandana's top. He plays a sport as he walks in Mandana's chappals too and acts in a girly way too. He pouts towards Mandana face and comes close to her. Rochelle is visibly upset.
# Nominations process start. Aman Verma-Kishwer Merchant, Yuvika Chaudhary-Vikas Bhalla, Roopal-Digangana and Suyyash and Rimi nominated Ankit-Arvind.While, Prince and Rochelle nominated Rimi and Suyyash. Keith and Mandana nominated Roopal and Digangana. Ankit and Arvind nominate Vikas and Yuvika.
# Bigg Boss announces that Ankit-Arvind, Rimi-Suyyash, Roopal-Digangana and Vikas-Yuvika are nominated for eliminations.
#Keith is spotted flirting with Mandana. They chat, hug quite a few times and even have a sword fight where Keith keeps pulling her towards him.
# A visibly upset Rochelle calls Keith to him. She says that it's frustrating that she has so much to say to him, but she can't. She just says that, "I know nothing is going on, but think before doing something as there are cameras all around and people are going to see this on TV." Keith says, "Ok."
# Rimi and Suyyash discuss the day, where Rimi reveals that she thought they would have a microwave and fridge like the other seasons. She also thought the show was scripted and they would get food from the canteen, but was surprised after coming here.
# Arvind starts snoring again and everyone wakes up. Suyyash requests him to avoid snoring. Following this, Arvind decides he will not sleep and is seen siting on his bed.
# Yuvika wakes up to find Arvind awake. She hears Vikas also snoring and tells him to sleep as she is feeling bad, at last
Arvind also goes to sleep.
