Kishwer Merchantt, the new captain of Bigg Boss Nau

This week seems to be one eventful week inside the Bigg Boss (Endemol & Colors) house and we have been keeping our readers updated about the same.

And now we have some more news for them.

Yes, what we hear is that Kishwer Merchantt is the new captain of the house.

Rimi was asked to nominate three best contestants and the lady named Kishwer, Prince and Rochelle. And these three competed against each other in the given task, where they were asked to hold particular bowls. While the housemates were asked to disturb and irritate them, the contenders were asked to continue with the task, without losing patient.

Overcoming all the hurdles finally Kishwer will win the task is what we hear, thus becoming the next captain of the house.

With tonight's (20 November) episode, the third wild card participant Kawaljit Singh will also enter the house.

Bigg Boss 9: Rimi Sen's mother opens up after her public breakdown

The actress' mother speaks on her beti's breakdown during an interaction with Big Boss 9 host Salman Khan.

It has never happened in the history of Bigg Boss, now in its ninth season. No BB contestant has been so disturbed about being locked indoors that he/she has pleaded with the host to send them home. While interacting with host Salman Khan over the weekend, actress Rimi Sen broke down and begged him to allow her to go home. She was not happy about having being saved from elimination, even though she made it clear from day one that she wanted to leave the show (but can't because of a stringent exit clause).

Surprisingly, even when she went into the Bigg Boss house, no one from her family came to see her off. The actress has no siblings, lost her father a few years ago and lives with her mom Sanghamitra in Mumbai. While Rimi's breakdown was distressing for viewers and people from the industry who have known and worked with her, her mother is unfazed. Sanghamitra, who stays with the actress in Andheri tells us, "I watch the show every day so I don't miss her. Also, I've heard that she's getting lot of votes."

About her daughter sobbing on national television, even as Salman tried to console her. Mama Sen says, "Salman bheeshon bhalo manush (Salman is a wonderful man)! Rimi has known him since the Kyun Ki days. I am a very practical person. I didn't cry when I saw her crying. Rimi has always been a strong girl, independent and confident by nature, even as a child. She's a national scholar, has learned dancing since the age of three, is an accomplished Odissi dancer and has been working since she was 14. She has always made her own decisions. I am sure she knows what she is doing and how to take care of herself.

She adds that she wouldn't like to advise Rimi on anything. "She is a big girl. Who am I to give her advice? Even if I did, it wouldn't get through to her as she has no connect to the outside. I came to know that she had signed up for the reality show only when the producers came home to get the contract signed. I don't want to interfere in her life in any way. She has always been like my guardian angel, even as a child..."

When asked why she was absent on the first day of the show, she shrugs, "I am a very religious person and we had Mahalaya then (the week before Durga Puja). I have also taken initiation (diksha) from the Ram Krishna Mission and am involved in their work. I am busy with that." She adds, "There are many cameras inside the house that everyone comes to know what's happening."

Does she miss her daughter? She says, "If Rimi got married and went abroad after that, it would be the same, no? Of course, not that it would happen " Rimi has no desire to get married." Would she like her to stay till the end? "It depends on her. Rimi is an intelligent girl and she will decide what she wants to do. While she has friends, nobody is very close. Even I am like that." Would she enter the BB house when asked by the channel, Sanghamitra replies unequivocally, "No."

Five reasons that Priya was right about Kishwer being a bully

There have been countless number of arguments that have occurred inside the Bigg Boss house and in most of them, we have witnessed Kishwer acting as the big bully along with her boyfriend Suyyash. Kishwer who is up front, opinionated and loud still stands strong inside the house even on week seven of the game. Here are some of the reasons why we think Kishwer fits the bill of a bigg bully inside the Bigg Boss house.

Opinionated - As seen from the beginning Kishwer Merchantt is highly opinionated. It's just not us who feels that about her, even Salman was seen voicing the same opinion about her. Be it judging an inmate or being involved in a task, Kishwer's opinions are always on a platter, ready to serve!

Loud during her captaincy - Kishwer seems to have annoyed the other inmates inside the Bigg Boss house with her loud behaviour during both the times she was made the captain. Her my way or highway' attitude is definitely pissing off the other contestants and they have mentioned it to her quite a few times on the show. She has always tackled situations with a hot-head which has resulted in the unfolding of her loud personality even more.

Influences other people - While Kishwer is time and again in denial of the fact that she is influencing the decisions of other inmates like of Suyyash and Prince Narula; Kishwer being the mastermind of all their actions has often denied it. Some have called her Suyyash's mother sarcastically. Despite all of this , Kishwer always goes overboard while trying to put her her opinions on others.

Bullying Digangana - Digangana being the youngest in the house is always dragged by Kishwer to do some or the other household work. We have heard alot from the evicted contestants that Kishwer and her gang makes Digangana do all their menial jobs.

Kitchen queen - The tag of the Kitchen queen was given to Yuvika this season but the whole control and decision making power of what is supposed to be cooked and who all will drink how much coffee is always decided by Kishwer. Many of the housemates have been even seen complaining how Kishwer has taken over the kitchen and she refuses to budge from her point of view.

Lol...i soo wana know the reason for colors, bb and SK's mirchi lagi attitude...None of these tantamount to "being bully" .

And puhleez Diggy is so young and immature currently that she gets influenced and "bullied" by everyone!!

And everyone influences everyone in some ways ..big deal if u have more of convincing and influencing power!!..That doesnt imply a bully!!

Housemates wake up to 'Happy Birthday To You' and shake a leg with birthday girl Rochelle kick starting the celebration. But amidst this joyful moment, Rochelle is crestfallen because she is missing Keith and is upset for not receiving any special birthday wishes from him. Priya consoles Rochelle and tells her that situations don't always allow you to act as you want but this just adds fuel to the fire and upsets Rochelle even further. Suyyash comforts Rochelle when her tells that Priya is aware about Keith's situation and yet she's keeping her in the dark. Suyyash warns Rochelle to stay unaffected by Priya's comments because he feels that she just intends to manipulate the stronger contestants and play with their minds. Joining the conversation, Mandana says that Priya's game plan is to break everyone and that Rishabh has become her pet who just blindly follows her orders. Later in the day, when Priya is having a conversation with Suyyash about her stint in Big Brother, Kanwaljeet comes into the room to apologise for his behaviour.

As the day progresses, Bigg Boss announces the new captaincy task and the benefits that will come with it. All housemates need to be stuffed inside a car and be stationed there. The one who survives till the end will be declared as the winner. That person will also gain two weeks of immunity, be safe from nomination for the next two weeks and will also play an important role in the entire procedure. Rimi's team is asked to select two worst performers in the dairy' task when Priya, Suyyash and Rochelle get into an ugly argument owing to difference of opinion. Priya cries to Rishabh and Digangana and says that the housemates are ganging up against her. Rishabh tells Priya that because the housemates opened up in front of her while she was conducting the nominations, they are now scared because she is now privy to their strengths and weaknesses.

Later in the evening, the captaincy task begins when everyone rushes inside the car and claim their spots. Kawaljeet losses out on his chance to get immunity as there's no space left for him inside the car. The other team members are trying their best to force Rishabh out of the car. Priya then gets into another argument with Suyyash and Kishwer inside the car after she accuses them for not understanding any task and are projecting their idiosyncrasies. Kishwer lashes out at Priya and tells her that the housemates are better off than the wild card entrants and nobody can break them. In the day comes to an end, Kanwaljeet is having a discussion with other contestants about Rochelle taunting him and how she doesn't stand a chance in front of him and is not a strong enough.
