I agree with you.it was so monotonous since the week after mirchi task.
Gautam was shown as the one isolated and all itgwrs HMs were criticized for being bullies.since that day everybody else lost credibility and no matter what good they did was never highlighted.everything was always relative to gautam.
Those who were not hanging out with gautam, left one by one I.e the bedroom gang.
Sushant has said in his interview too that he used to sing in female voice a lot many times and in live feed too we could see sonali chatting with others and having fun.they used to dance and play games and have fun.
But gautam never mingled with them as he had realized the potential in isolation.
Sonali, praneet, minisha, arya, sushant, upen and even soni were friendly towards him and they are seen asking him to join them in their fun games etc, but he brushed them all off and preferred being alone by choice .
What happened as a result was that gautam was portrayed as somebody being bullied and ignored.And that was not the case.
Even if he was targeted in the first two weeks, that wasn't without a reason.He did annoy and poke people who were not adjusted to his behavior and everybody else dis mend their ways later on.
If I am in a new environment and somebody keeps poking me or does herogiri, I wouldn't indulge much with him.It just doesn't seen genuine
Every scenario was shown from gautam's perspective and how others felt about it was never shown.
Initial few weeks were enough to bring attention onto one person and other contestants never got the chance to build their character and their personalities could never emerge.
I can't accept that gautam's personality was more attractive than Sonali, praneet, puneet , pritam, diandra or even karishma.
Sonali and diandra were particularly very strong mentally and never tried to gain sympathy.
But their characters were never individually respected.they were always seen with gautam's perspective and how they benefit him or not .
Diandra fights with him, she is hated.diandra kisses him, she is hated
But who is diandra? And why would she just kiss somebody without the other person's involvement.
I feel sad because the show was a myopic view from gautam's eyes and we were forced to see it from his spot.
He was the only one who was seen cleaning the house and doing other chores .nobody else got such useless footage.
There was a lot of potential which wasn't tapped the right way and only one man's potential could shine through this mess.
There were strong women who fought for their self respect when nobody else did like sonali and diandra, there were people like puneet whose whole journey was as a guide to gautam and he made all the plans in order to clear way for him, there was praneet who was a beautiful soul with always a good thing to say about anyone , helpful and ready to take fall for others and never to disrespect anyone , karishma was the perpetual go-getter who knew she was here alone to fight and went on fighting even after being insulted en number of times and only focused on her goal.
She also came from a broken family and we don't know what she has been through but all those things were never taken into consideration when she was called selfish .
Ali also came here with a game plan and stayed true to his adopted character .he showed utmost resilience too while being insulted left , right center .
Dimpy was also not coming from a good place and winning the show might have been important to her.she played the game well too while utilising her strength s.
Pritam added lot of humor to the show and kept a lighter atmosphere .he was an amazing friend to praneet and he also tried being a neutral player.His way of being and language were questioned while forgetting the humble background he comes from.again , he never got the chance to explain his baggage and gain sympathy over it.
Nobody's full potential was extracted other than gautam , whose potential was exaggerated beyond doubt.
That is because everything was from his own perspective.
One always thinks rightly about himself
He was always justifying his actions on the show and in front of cameras.
Why was nobody else doing the same thing? Or was it not shown?
Why was he always so right and everybody wrong .
This extremes of response generated this season is the only reason why I have lost faith in it.
I have no reason to like gautam above everyone else and I have no reason to say that he has more faults than anyone else
But as others positives were never highlighted and his negatives were shadowed., it just made everything monotonous and unworthy.
