Actually Sambhavna supported Gautam throughout the show and has a soft corner for him. Even when he yelled and snapped at her, she didn't make a big fuss about it. But when Gautam said no one came to his side when Ali was provoking him was the final straw. She felt betrayed by Gautam considering she did not join in with Ali and had told Ali that she's not liking what he's saying.

Gautam wouldn't understand the meaning of friendship if it slapped him across the face.

Sam was by far a better, more supportive friend to him than he was ever to her or anyone else.

She literally saved his desperate ass when he was going after Diandra and told him how he looked bad.
