maybe you missed the point. gauti stand was correct. a person can take abuse or mental torture up to a point, for some people it is that slightest insult that can provoke a reaction. gauti took it for so long. and in his situation he felt nobody was supporting him, a feeling of persecution a individual feels due to stress and exertion.
his fault was that he over thought things and concluded that he was alone so what was the point of fighting to win. so he gave up. and that was wrong.
he was not wrong on his stand of abuse and degrading talk about oneself just for winning a task
