Else how tough is it to understand that even taking a wife,mother or sister's name in a lewd way before a husband/brother/son or threatening to make loose comments about them is highly offensive as per Indian mentality. Pritam's wife is not a part of the big boss and has not agreed for it.

Every country has a specific culture and one has to adhere to it. Excuses like friend is also like family and all are ridiculous. This is India and Gautam's behaviour has to be evaluated as per the Indian culture where Pritam's non-reacting would have earned him the tag of namard and beating Gautam black and blue would have been appreciated by general public.

The moment Gautam said Amanjot's name my 60 year old mother immediately shouted: kitna ganda aadmi hai yeh.

Even Ali, the highly irritating and cheap character knew these boundaries while provoking Gautam. He made aspersions about Gautam's character, his male friends character but did he even utter his mother's name once?

No because he knew that would not be pardoned by the audience even if in a joke or task. But Gautam the great just doesnot know or understand boundaries of general decency or in fact even basic Indian mentality.

But why is he bringing Pritam's wife into it? If he wants to make comparisons then do it justly, insult Pritam or a good friend of his to prove a point. There's an extreme difference between a friendand your wife the Mother of your kids. It's too stupid to even compare.

The whole premise of analogy falls flat right there.

To all those who say sumit is 'Iike' a family to gulati...one simple question...when Ali was provoking him not once gulati asked Ali to not bring in people who are dear to him...not once gulati acknowledged the fact that he knows someone by this name and hence that persons shouldn't be dragged...Ali told everyone that its a made up character and said so in front of gautam as well...why did not gulati take him on and called his bs...?? If sumit is gulati's friend and his name getting dragged has hurt gulati...its all the more reason to not repeat the same with someone else...
