Just imagine u r gautam.
Ali comes and in the name of task starts connecting u romantically with the producer of the show which u had done earlier and starts accusing u of accepting valuable gifts in exchange for the 'favour' and then cheating him...remember here he is accusing u of not only being a gay but also indirectly calling u a male prostitute in the most outrageously demeaning way !
As u have put urself in gauti s shoes, for u the person sumeet who is linked to u is not any random guy or just a product of Ali's imagination like how it is for the viewers and other HM s. There are friends,colleagues of diya and bati as well as sumeet's family and the people around him who knows gautam and sumeet personally and how they are connected for real in the outside world...the more u think of it the more u start hating the situation u r in and finally decides to quit !
