Gautam is OCD about cleanliness. It's not just now.. Even before he would arrange pillows in living area, the whole don't keep mugs everywhere... all that is part of his OCD for cleanliness.

He doesn't know if he is getting footage or not. We know he is not because we are watching. But he doesn't know that from inside the house so I don't think he is doing it for footage. He was doing this even before when he was getting plenty of footage. He just happens to be a neat freak. It's his nature, not some fake footage tactic.
