I think they tried many former contestants but nobody agreed to participate in the show. So, when Upen himself approach the team, they might have agreed to let him in. Instead of letting Upen in they should have approached Deepshika. She is perfect fit for shows like BB and she deserve second chance.

no they tried only for Imam . But he asked for a crore so they gave up
