As much as i wanted to be true but no my friend the trends of india has been frozen since yesterday night samw trends been trendinf all morning only one chnage if u go on the link trend india provides u it tells u how many hours exactly the hashtag have trended n i saw gautm was at 29th place he trended for 1:19 one hour n 19 mintues

to be fair a LOT of people who trended that hash tag would be Salman's competitor's fans who probably don't even watch the show.

Yaa I know what you are saying...what I meant was it was not a appreciation hash tag for Gauahar. It was negative to Salman, so other Khan's fanclub members joined in. For Gautam its purely positive hash-tag trended by fans...so its definitely a bigger deal.
