Gautam Gulati's brother, Mohit who recently visited him as part of the freeze-release task on Bigg Boss says that it's unfortunate that Gautam is still having to bear the brunt about what Diandra did with him on the show. Gautam hit headlines for his intimate moments with co-contestant Diandra Soares and for their open kissing escapedes on Bigg Boss. Talking about his brother being reprimanded by the show host Salman Khan for going back on his supposed relationship with Soares, Mohit says, "That's okay. Atleast it's better than getting intimate on national TV. We have nothing against Diandra but she did what damage she had to do. Even now my brother is having to give explanations about what happened in the bathroom and all that, and even my mother and our entire family is being stopped on the roads and asked about it," says Mohit, who feels that his brother is "childish".
"This was around seven-eight years back when Gautam was shooting for a deodorant ad, and there was this sequence where he'd be standing and a bunch of girls will run towards him. So after the shoot one of the models wanted to take a selfie with him, and it was all in good humour. We're clueless why people are making an issue out of this suddenly. Now if someone uploads his naked toddler photos, will that be counted as nude pic of Gautam'!" says Mohit.
We didn't like Diandra insulting Gautam and calling him 'Fattu' just because he was not getting intimate with her. Every time he kept saying, 'Aap kripya dur rahiya' or 'Aap please mujhe touch mat kijiye' but still he was dragged into all of this. As a family when all of us are watching all this, it's quite embarassing so it had to be stopped."
Not just Diandra, Mohit has also come out in defense of a photo of Gautam with a foreigner woman that went viral across social networking sites, recently. In the selfie, Gautam is seen kissing a woman in an intimate position. Mohit says it was a picture taken a few years back in Sri Lanka when Gautam was shooting an ad.
