Don't you think Upen should have supported Sonali as she has softcorner for him. Pritam was also telling Sonali same thing to her in washroom. What do you think?

Sonali ka soft corner gaya bhar main , at such intense stage he knows the only person he can trust is Karishma, his loyalties have always been to her , Sonali is just a pendulum he knows that . Plus Sonali khud ne kaha Upen pagal hai use chod do .

Upen has never supported Sonali

Even when that Kambal incident with Ali happened Upen didn't do anything

Upen is a loser.

And Sonali so an idiot to expect anything from him

I think eventually he came round to relenting for sonali's name, but did not want praneet to become captain at any cost. even kari was amenable. is there some history that praneet and upen share that I am forgetting?
