I saw some people commenting on how Gautam does not do tasks well and always loses tasks while Upen is apparently a great task performer who has won most of the tasks. I just don't get HOW people reach such a conclusion??
I am not one to defend reality show contestants to their haters/fans on a forum but sometimes when I see all facts and logic thrown out of the window to put down someone you dislike and show your favorite as great I feel compelled to put in my thoughts...So here is the performance scorecard of the tasks so far:
1. Shaadi task ----Upen and Gautam were both in the winning team
2. Party Task-- Gautam,Puneet, Ali and Diandra's team won.
3. App task--All housemates lost (includes Upen)...Though Upen did do this task well.
4. Building blocks task - All housemates lost (includes Upen)
5. Phone Booth Task - No one really won or lost that but Karishma, Puneet performed it.
Both Upen and Gautam did nothing noteworthy in this task.
6. Museum task - Chor's won ----Gautam contributed majorly in the Chor's winning.
7. Gautam dictator task --- No winner exactly..All housemates won. Gautam did his part as the dictator well. The second part Ali, Praneet, Pritam were the main planners in making the second part successful. Again Upen did nothing significant here.
8. Butler task---Individual task that Dimpy and Pritam won...Upen was one of the worst there
9. Mithai task-Diandra's team won..Upen was in it and did contribute there but everyone agreed Diandra was the main reason they won.
10. Hero vs Villain--Karishma's team won--upen again did not contribute anything as such. He did the flag holding part of the task well but again the other team sort of gave up after the Di-Sonali issue.
11. Hijack task ---Deepshikha's team won...but Upen and Arya in that refused to perform when it was their turn and the other team gave up and din't perform well during their time.
12. Yes/No task ---Gautam's team won
I can't remember the other tasks but keeping these tasks 11 tasks in mind:
Gautam was a part of the winning team ---- 5 times
Upen was a part of the winning team --- 5 times
The rest of the times either all the housemates lost the task or it was an individual task that neither Gautam or Upen won.
Other than the App task that Upen performed really well his contribution in other tasks has never been the best or very noteworthy. Similarly Gautam did the Museum task and the Dictator task well...his strategy was bang on...his performance in the rest of them has been decent though maybe not the best. Both of them do most of the tasks sincerely.
So I don't get HOW and WHY people claim Upen is an excellent task performer while Gautam is horrible in tasks???????. Both have a similar score card.
You really need to get the facts right before going ahead and claiming your fav is great while other person is rubbish.
PS: Its not a who won more tasks than the other post. So lets not get into the number game by adding random sponsor and celebrity tasks.
People seem to be missing the point of the post: Its not about who won more or less. I just put that to show how both have performed more or less equally. Winning a couple of tasks up or down does not make a difference. I don't say Upen is a bad performer. What I am trying to say is that both have performed more or less the same in tasks...So why call Gautam horrible in tasks while call Upen a great performer???
BOTH are EQUALLY good or bad.
